Provider didn't start the work on time which was supposed to last 6 weeks. Sent two workers after the basement was dug out.
One worker cut the cement block while the other worker laid the block. We had to move out of the house the end of October because we had no heat, no water. We still have not been able to move in as of April 5, 2014. Because of the cold weather this last winter, nothing was finished. Provider was supposed to use washed river rock around the tile outside the home for drainage, but used pea gravel instead. We still have no windows installed in the basement. Mr. Aguilar did not oversee most of the work, and did nothing but provide false promises, and cheap material. The floor is still not poured, and we sit and wait for someone to show up. One of the workers also stated that he wished the owner of A & W Masonry would just do one job at a time. That is the reason that this job took so long. Spreading out your hired help to do too many jobs will not do.. At the most, 3 people would show up to lay block, but the majority of time, only 2 were here.
They also did not clean up the yard until last week, and all the dirt is still in big piles. Another 2 workers showed up this Spring and are digging dirt with shovels and buckets. I don't know if we will see our windows some time soon, as they are sitting in Mr. Aguilar's garage since last year.
