My basset hound, Cassie, LOVES going to doggie daycare!  Nothing rouses her faster in the morning than hearing the words, "want to go to daycare?!".  The staff at 4 Paws are fantastic- super friendly, and always greeting Cassie by name when we walk in.  With the grooming services, I can even get her nails trimmed while she's there during the day!  I have also boarded Cassie at 4 Paws, and I feel confident that she is safe and well cared for while in their care.  Take your dogs to 4 Paws Unleashed- they will love it!

4Paws is the greatest Doggie Day Care service. We use the Urbandale location and all the girls are fantastic per lovers. Our Karma goes there about three days a week and loves it. We sometimes go out of town and fell 100% confident that she is well loved when we are out of town. They also do a fantastic job clipping her nails and giving her a bath every once in a while. Fantastic service that deserves 10 STARS!!!

4 Paws Unleashed takes the best care of my dog. He loves going to daycare and playing with his pals. The staff knows him and warmly greets him each time he visits. 4 Paws is reasonably priced and offers on site services for grooming, training, boarding, etc. My dog is excited every time we pull into the 4 Paws parking lot, and that gives me peace of mind! Each time I pick him up from daycare, he is upbeat and peppy! Once home, he takes a nap because he's tuckered out from his day of fun, exercise, and play!

Our dog goes to 4 Paws Unleashed in Clive twice a week for daycare. He is very well taken care of and enjoys his time there. Sometimes he doesn't want to play with the dogs but prefers to socialize with the girls in the office :) I appreciate that they let Cash hang out in the office with them when he needs some and quot;peopleand quot; time. They are very loving and take great care of him. I enjoy the daily facebook posts of the dogs. This company is an excellent example of being socially responsible as they save and foster shelter dogs that are close to being euthanized. The girls at 4 Paws work with the foster dogs to socialize them and prep them for their forever families. Its an amazing thing they do and continues to impress me!

The dogs appeared to be well cared for and happy to be there. They were in day care as well so had plenty of room to roam and get their energy out.

I honestly refer them to everyone I know with pets because we are so pleased. We were referred as well. The owners are awesome also Corey and Corey. Both locations are great, but we try to get into Clive because it is close to our house. We always have them bathed and nails trimmed also before we pick them up. The price sometimes seems like it is almost half of the other place we go. We love love love them! Thank you 4 Paws for loving our pups just as much as we do!

It went really well. The price depends on what I want. The boarding was $18 a day. The employees were all really friendly. I really liked that they have a camera in their playroom. While I was gone, I could log on to the internet and view the camera to see my dog. It was awesome. He looked happy. They charged what they said they would. The dog appeared to be happy everytime I saw him. I thought their price was very reasonably. I was happy with everything.

The staff was very informative when I dropped her off. They explained nap time, how they deal with discipline, etc.
One thing I really liked about Paws was that we got a tour the first time we dropped our puppy off there. I haven't toured other daycare/boarding facilities but this one did not seem particularly clean to me. I felt a little guilty my little puppy there. When I went to the back room where she was taken, it was a big room divided between the smaller dogs and the bigger dogs. That was nice that we didn't have to worry about our puppy with the big dogs. The thing I didn't like, and my husband didn't like when he picked her up, the room in the back just seemed like a big warehouse. It seemed really impersonal also because there were so many dogs. Overall, I just wasn't getting a great feeling when I left. When we picked her up, she was dirty in her lady parts and a few days later she developed a little puppy cold. It wasn't a full blown kennel cough but she definitely had something for about a week.
We have taken our puppy to another daycare many times and never had any issues. One other downside of Paws is that is was more expensive than other places we have checked out. Overall I am mixed about Paws. Our first experience may have been an exception but we aren't very excited about going back.

Everything completed as requested, my boy was happy and not stressed when I picked him up. Took slightly longer than anticipated due to power outage, but keep in touch with me by phone and handled well.

When I picked up my dog after 10 days, she had green pus running out of her eyes and a deep puncture wound on her face. Her ears were full of brown goopy drainage. She does have allergies, but I have never seen her ears like this. I don't blame them for her ears getting infected, but I was upset I was never called and so they were not treated. They should have seen them when they bathed her. Her face was swollen in the area of the wound . I was told she caught a tooth from another dog and they had cleaned it up. I understand that there are risks involved in daycare and I wasn't so upset that it had happened but upset that I was not called. I had my vet look at the gash. It was extremely deep and she cleaned out a big glop of a hard substance. I called to let them know I was disappointed that they did not call me about the gash. I was told they cleaned it out and used surgical glue to hold it together. My vet said they should have never done that (need to be a vet to use this) and she should have been placed on an antibiotic. The owner of the kennel was very nice and offered to pay for my vet bill.

I am a cancer patient and was looking for a way to give my dog exercise when I am too tired. I considered other Doggie Daycare facilities, but several co-workers recommended 4 Paws and when I looked into the details I liked what I saw. They do not require a set schedule, so you can bring you dog on whatever days are most convenient in a given week. Both dog rooms have outside access, so the dogs have the ability to play both inside and outside whenever they want. The dogs are out in the playrooms all day except for a 2 hour window for Lunch/naps. Each Dog Room has a webcam, so you can look for your dog on camera during the day. And they offer quarterly specials on packages of Daycare passes, so the price is very reasonable.
I now take Scooby there about twice a week. He's 11 so he doesn't and quot;playand quot; a lot anymore, but he really enjoys being around the other dogs and socializing. He likes going there so much that when I drop him off I no longer even get a goodbye look as they are taking him back. LOL
I've also been impressed with the staff and their attention to detail and how each dog interacts with the others. Since Scooby is a bit older than most, he sometimes gets a little nervous when there are a lot of young dogs that are wound up. When that happens, I appreciate the fact that the staff will notice he's uncomfortable and will work to figure out where he will be happiest. Whether that's in the small dogs room or even letting him hang out in the kennel area until things calm down.
Scooby and I love 4 Paw Unleashed and plan to continue going there!!

I had taken my dog, Buster into the Clive location for many years and they have always done a great job.
Today was no exception. I like to take him there and leave him for the weekend so he can have his playtime with the other dogs and usually he is tired the next days because of all the fun he has had. I had also asked for him to get a bath and nails trimmed and he looks like a beautiful fluffy dog after getting bathed and brushed out. Also, he sheds a lot less after his brush and bath.
Their prices are very reasonable and you can just leave your dog for daytime only if you dont need overnight boarding.
When we first got Buster, he was a real problem when it came to obedience and going to bed at night with barking and would not settle down. We had them train the dog and us on proper techniques on getting him to sleep and night and after we got him back 2 weeks later with obedience training, it was like he was a new dog and we slept better from then on.

This was the first time I left my pets with 4 Paws Unleashed. My little dog is quite temperamental and I left detailed instructions with Cori. When we returned from our trip, both my dog and cat were in great shape. They were calm, clean and I felt that they had been well cared for. In addition to that, the place is CLEAN and it was that way every time I was in there. I was given a complete tour of the place when I stopped in to check them out-not always done at other places. I will definitely use them again.
