No complaints, they do what they say they are going to do.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE.  They did the work they said they would.  I didn't notice a change.  But most importantly when I wanted to stop using them they continued to call me nonstop about future work.  So more than 5 years later I am still getting calls from them.  Unfortunately I am only now researching them and learning that this is a common practice.

They do a great job. They charge $35 per application. I used them last year as well and I had apples that weighed almost a pound. I like that they are consistent and if they spot a problem on the tree, they let me know.

So I hired TruGreen a few years ago to apply fertilizer and weed control. My yard wasn't bad, it just needed some sprucing up. They didn't show up when promised. I'd come home and little flags would be planted in the yard but the yard sure never showed they actually did anything useful. Worse, large patches of grass started dying. It was a dry summer but I did water some. Nothing helped; the yard got very streaky, then weeds took hold. I got fed up and fired them. My lawn used to be pretty lush and green. It's now a weed-choked mess. 
To cap it all, TruGreen kept calling me--actually hounding me--by phone for almost two years to rehire them.  Now they just send me junk mail, promising more of their miraculous lawn services. Terrible company. Don't use.

The lawn fertilization portion was ok.

The main problems were as follows:
1. They did not show up when they said they would. Very frustrating.
2. The weed control was really bad. It was applied in streaks, with the areas in between the streaks left weedy. The lawn looked really bad as a result.
3. I hired them to fertalize certain parts of the large lot but not others. They messed these instructions up.
4. As a result of these failures, I fired them. Then for about two years they kept calling me up and asking me to rehire them--even after I told them I would never rehire them. They said the problems were due to management failures that they had since corrected.

Very good.  They have been doing our yard for 12 years.

Re-seeding was not done, major mis-communication between who sold me the service and the actual service technicians.

They have charged me an average price. They were responsive and punctual on their work but I will going to use them again in the future. I really don't have much comments about them.

Since this is an ongoing service (through fall), I can say that we are pleased so far.  Initially, the sales representative came to the house, looked at the yard and discussed options for care.  He answered all of my questions and presented with a relaxed approach - no pressure.  The quote we recieved was very reasonable and the service began within a couple of weeks from signing the contract.  The billing agent has always been very professional and knowledgeable when I have spoken with her.  We haven't had any mistakes with our plan or our billing.  Approximately 2 days before the scheduled service, we receive a call to let us know when they will be coming.  Most of the time, we are not at home during their service, however, they always leave a note informing us of what treatments were provided and how we can keep our lawn healthy.   

A representative was walking through my neighborhood, and since my lawn has been neglected the past two years and was very weed covered, I decided to talk to her. (which I never do, I don't like door to door salespeople) I asked her what could be done with my lawn, and as we walked around she gave suggestions on what they could do. Plus they were having a discount special going on at the time and she went over all the options they have. I was very concerned about chemical use and the possible harmful effects on my three dogs. She assured me what they use is safe and effective, and would not harm my dogs or other wildlife. I took the plunge and opted for the basic plan plus airation and seeding in the fall. I was very skeptical and even more so after the first treatment, the technician did not seem to be here very long and I was doubtful anything would happen. Boy was I wrong! Within a week I noticed weeds shriveling up and the grass getting greener, even my neighbor across the street said my lawn was looking much better. And now after the second treatment, my lawn is much greener, very few weeds (creeping charlie was taking over everything), and the grass is much thicker. I am very happy with how my lawn looks now and am so thrilled that I decided to let them take care of it.

They are fine. I have not had any problems.

I wasn't home when they serviced my lawn, but it went really well.  ChemLawn has always done a great job! My lawn looks great, and it's at a great price.

I've used them for the past 7 or 8 years. I pay $50 per application and there are 4 or 5 applications. If I want grub or any additional applications there is an additional cost. I continue to use them but I don't know if I would recommend them. They are good on responsiveness and they are always here when they say they will be.  I guess I will continue to use them because there aren’t a lot of choices. I pay to have my grass be nice and green and I have all these dead spots. I told them and they dropped off a bag of grass seed on my driveway but they never told me what to do with it.

They do well with the yard and we have the greenest yard in the neighborhood. I have never had anything bad happen.

They spray our lawn. They are fine. We have no problems with them. If there is any issues, they will come back out. They are real good. They do lawn fertilization and treatment. They are very responsive. They come to the door to let us know they will be working in the yard. We have used them for a couple of years.

My lawn looks good. They have been fine. I haven't had any trouble. If I have a concern, they will take care of it. They come when they say they will be here.

They were awful.  They didn’t do anything really to the lawn because there’s still patches everywhere and it seemed like they had come out and just put a sign in our yard and then left; I saw no improvement.

We have only used them for a year, and we are satisfied with their work. They come when the weather is right for them to come.
