"Thank you for sharing your Terminix experience! Please do not hesitate to contact us should you need additional assistance at 1.844.251.2164. Thank you!"
June 1: Initial inspection and assessment scheduled between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. Cecil and a trainee arrived shortly after 10:35 and left about ten minutes after I began a meeting with a client I had scheduled for 11:00 am. The "Not in My House" brochure was left with pricing information. After my client left, I signed the "Terminix E-Sign Request" and made an appointment at terminix.com. The website suggested I was able to schedule service for the next day, June 2, between 8:00 am and 10:00 am. I tried several times throughout the day to call the local Terminix phone number to schedule the appointment, but each time the call went directly to the corporate office, where I was often required to wait several minutes to speak with a representative.
June 2: No Terminix representative arrived at the time scheduled through the website. Jennifer called around 10:30 am to apologize, explaining that the corporate website is unaware of the scheduling in the local office. I also spoke on the phone with David Gerber, who rescheduled service to the following day and gave me his direct email address to be used for scheduling service. I received a voice mail from a Terminix representative (named Blake or Blaine) who told me he would arrive between 8:00 am and 10:00 am on June 3rd. I responded with a voice mail to his number confirming the appointment.
June 3: The representative (named Blake or Blaine) scheduled to arrive between 8:00 am and 10:00 am did not arrive or return my call. Another appointment was scheduled with Jennifer for June 4 between 8:00 am and 10:00 am.
June 4: Jennifer arrived as scheduled and treated the property in four specific areas where ants were visibly active. She suggested that another rep would return to set up rodent traps. The bill for this visit was $116.63.
June 15: Ants continue to be seen in my kitchen area and are very active on the south side of the house in the area which was treated on the 4th. Young boxelder bugs are in large numbers in the same area on exterior walls and windows. Spiders continue to appear on the main floor near air vents. An email to David Gerber resulted in an appointment being scheduled for June 17 between 8:00 am and 10:00 am.
June 17: No representative from Terminix arrived, called, or sent an email at any time this morning. At 11:45 am, I emailed David Gerber requesting that my contract be terminated. He replied one hour later, telling me that my contract would be suspended and my payment refunded.
