 + -1 moreWhen you see Dr. Elmendorf, it is like you are his only patient in the whole world!! You may have a longer wait than at many doctor's offices, but he is so friendly and easy going - will to talk about anything you bring up - even if it is politics!! He is a good, intelligent family MD. I more or less, pulled his name out of a hat when we moved here 5 years ago, and I am so glad I did.
Description of Work: I have seen him for 5 years now. The last time I saw him for high blood pressure, that I had not had in the past. He started me immediately on a low dose pill, and then had blood tests done. I returned in a week for the results. I needed potassium and continued on the blood pressure. pill.

 + -1 moreWhen I came in with a possible TIA which happened a few days earlier, he made it understood that we are always to go to the emergency room to get the problem checked out - In a kind but very serious manner. He had every necessary test done, so that when I saw the nerologist he had more idea what more tests needed to be done, and didn't have to start from the beginning. He is an extremely intelligent MD.
Description of Work: I had a possible TIA. He checked every medication that I took. He ordered many necessary tests to find out what the problem was. He got me an appointment with a neurologist. He is an extremely intelligent MD, with a good bedside manner.

 + -1 moreDr Elmendorf a doctor in the Spring Street Family Practice is very good about explaining any problem. Listens to patient, and give you all the time necessary-never seems rushed. Makes sure you get the tests you need or refers you to someone who can help you.
