The crew was punctual, arriving even earlier than expected. Except for a 30 minute lunch break, they worked hard all day, finishing about 4 o'clock . They came back on the next business day to finish. Both days the cleanup was very well done. Not one nail, old shingle, or piece of wood was left on my property. On the first day, the foreman found some rotted wood from a leak in the existing roof. He took pictures of the damage and came down to talk to me about what needed to be done. The second day was Halloween, and the owner Steve, called to ask me if I needed them out of the way for the trick-or-treaters. I found all of the people involved to be exceptionally responsive, professional, and hard workers. I couldn't ask for anything more. I'm glad I hired River Cities Roofing, and I would highly recommend them for any one who needs a roof.

We as home owners were surprised to learn that there were three layers of shingles with almost two inch nails.  The men worked  well together. Everyone knew their job and worked hard.  The back half of the roof was done the first day and the remaining front was finished the following Monday.  Every nail and scrap was picked up and hauled away when done, all that was left was the new roof.  Also I was very impressed with how River Cities was organized and efficient in how the work was done.

Steve and his employees did an excellent job of repairing my roof.  
Before I awarded the job to River City Roofing, Steve explained exactly what he was going to do and when he thought he could do it.  He is professional and courteous and did everything he said he was going to do, plus a few extra things to make sure other areas of the roof were not compromised.
One thing really stood out when dealing with this company.  Steve communicates very well and if he said he was going to call me, he would call me.  Contractors have a reputation of being very difficult to get ahold of and keep you informed.  Steve did a very good job of this and always let me know if there was a problem or an issue.  He started the job exactly as he said he would.
I am very happy with the work he performed and I would encourage anyone who is considering hiring him to do so.

I got a 4 to 5 estimates, most didn't even give me a time of day because they said project was to small. The price was the best out of the 5 estimates. Also i liked the reviews he got on here. The crew was really good and fast, and did a good quality job. Also did a really good job cleaning up, I will be using him for now on for my roofing in future.

We used River Cities Roofing and More two years ago to replace the roof on our home and unattached garage. This year we had them put new roofs on our work shop / garage, the ice house and our barn. As was done previously we received excellent and professional service. The employees are courteous and professional, they arrive on time and do an excellent job. The job was started on time and was completed on time. After the job was done they completely cleaned the area. The roofs look great and we are very happy with the service and work.

Steve was very professional and courteous during the estimate. He pointed out the problems with my attic ventilation that had caused my roof sheeting to rot and mold. He gave me a very reasonable estimate that made sure all of the ventilation problems would be solved. I signed the estimate and was told it would probably be more than a month before they could come and do the job because of the rain and the line of other customers he had waiting.
When I noticed my roof leaking I called him to ask if he could do it sooner. He offered to tarp the leaking half of the roof until he could do the job. We didn't need to tarp it because he came out 2 days later and started the job. The workers were efficient and polite throughout the job process. It only took a day +3 hrs to finish the job and clean up. Clean up was very good. I have not seen a single nail in my yard.
I did have to have my satellite company re-install the dish. That was not included(and specifically excluded from) in the contract.
Upon payment in full I received the warranty card for the life time warranty shingles that was already filled out for me and ready to sign.

The president of River Cities Roofing and more, Steve Simon, was on time for his appointment to provide an estimate. He was professional, courteous and knowledgeable, He provided a copy of his insurance and a professional looking contract. When we signed the contract he made a date to start the work and he did not require a down payment. The work was started on time, his employees were professional, courteous and knowledgeable. The work was completed on time, the area was cleaned and everything looks great. We will have River Cities Roofing reroof our barn in the spring of 2013.

The company was fairly priced, honest, diligent, and punctual. I could not ask for more in a contractor.

Repair time took only a couple of hours, but they looked like they knew what they were doing and they did it quickly.

My thoughts are to call as many roofers as necessary to find one that treats you well. Yes, it is a pain to have people on your roof several times a day , but, in the long run, you become informed with the way they will treat your home.

Research the products on the net, look for recommendations. I visited other homes repaired my River Cities. Several companies refused to supply me a list, they were out that second.

Make sure the company has insurance and will get the proper city permits.
