Horrible experience working with this company. We purchased an above ground pool from them last year. When the pool was originally installed, the inlet and outlet lines were hooked up backwards. This caused the pool to sit for weeks without being able to run the pump. It cost us hundreds of dollars in extra chemicals to get the water cleared and stains off the liner once they finally came back and hooked it up correctly. The sand under the liner has huge divots in it that trap leaves and debris that our vacuum will not catch. The pavers that were thrown down on the ground for the pool equipment to sit on were all out of level, un-even, and looked horrible causing the pool equipment to be WAY out of level. Our heater and pump were placed backwards which left no access to the electrical cabinet of the heater to be able to wire it, which was also a code violation for electrical clearances. I had to redo the whole set up myself to correct it. The heater has also leaked so bad since new that it drops our water level over an inch a week. I recently scheduled service for the heater because it would not run and was invoiced $375 for the service call. Their tech was onsite for maybe 15 minutes. I called to complain about this invoice thinking that with all the issues we have had that they would credit this invoice for our troubles. The customer service I received on this call was the worst I have ever experienced. The young man that answered the phone sounded like a 18-21 year old kid. After getting no where with him I asked for his supervisor. He said he was the supervisor. I then asked for the owner of the company and he claimed to be the owner of the company also. I responded with "I highly doubt you're the owner of the company," and his response was "bet?" Whatever that means. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Installing a pool should be an exciting experience but with Pleasure Pools and Spas it's nothing short of miserable.
Description of Work: Still have a pool heater that leaks but do not want to continue to work with Pleasure Pools and Spas.

New owner was willing to look at pictures and discuss what needed to be done. Multiple employees asked if I needed assistance throughout all my visits. Scheduled pool opening and closing. On time, polite, and fast young men. Fixed a leak in my hot tub while opening pool. Been using them for a year now and highly recommend.
Description of Work: Opening and closing pool. Leaky hot tub.

Status is not complete. Ordered a safety cover for my inground pool on August 30, 2022 being told the timeframe for the cover to be sent back to Pleasure Pools and Spa's facility 5-7 days after the manufacturer received my old cover as a template. We planned install to be the first week in October. I gave my cover to PPS September 5 to send out the following Wednesday. This would have the cover back to PPS the last week of September. On September 29 I was informed the cover was not in and could we reschedule the install to Oct 11 as the cover was to be delivered Oct 5. I approved the new install date and planned on closing my pool Oct 8. On Oct 8 halfway through the closing process I was emailed that they were going through the work for next week the previous day and found the cover had not arrived. Estimated shipping from the manufacturer is now Oct 20. At this point I had already cleaned, drained water out of the pool, and was removing water from the lines. With small children I need a temporary solution to the safety of my pool. PPS suggested a tarp with water weights be placed over the pool. They installed Oct 11, the tarp and weights did not stay in place for 24 hours. The tarp and half the weights are now in the pool. They have been informed of the tarp and weights. Have said someone will be out to fix but have not said when.

Never finished installation of our pool liner saying they would get wrinkles out of stairs which they never returned to do even though paid in full. Did a quick and poor job installing leaving pebbles and sand on stairs and floor of pool and installed liner without cleaning up and now we have bumps and sharp pieces you can feel thru the liner all over the steps and shallow end of our pool. Then to top off, the extra work we requested they tried to over bill us on everything they quoted and even over charged the sales tax.
Description of Work: Pool liner installation and new return lines installed.

My neighbor referred me to this company for an above ground pool. The first time I went in there they saw me standing there and said nothing and made me wait 18 minutes. After asking for help the owner or manager rolled his eyes and directed asked a young man assist me. I was quoted a great price for an above ground pool, when I went back to close the deal with cash a week later the owner or manager just sat there watching me. Again after asking for help someone came, trhe manager rolled his eyes and sent a young lady to help me . Oddly enough the estimate I drew up with the young man I saw put on file disappeared despite the copy I had. Funny I go in there twice they see me I wait although no one else is in the store, when other customers came in with a different skin color they jumped right up. Guess they had a problem with my skin color. Each time the demenour by a specific fat older individual who apparently was the owner was very rude and nasty as well. Avoid like the plague
