Horizon Movers & Climate Control Storage

Everything went well. Working directly with the owner of Horizon (including him being part of the loading and unloading crew) demonstrated their interest in the process - it didn't appear to be "just another job" to them. Would definitely recommend them to others as well as use them myself for a future move.

It went seamlessly. The crew of guys arrived in the window of time pre-designated in our contract, promptly. There were 3 guys in the crew and they couldn't have been more polite or engaged from the moment they arrived. The introduced themselves to us and shook our hands, then got right to work. They took instruction without hesitation and seriously had the best manners. They even asked if it was ok for them to use the restroom! 07/22/17 was an unbelievably hot and humid day and they did not stop working for the entire time they were with us. They were strong & competent the entire time. Nothing got dropped, damaged or broken in the move, which is much better than I can say when we moved ourselves in the past!!! I will absolutely hire them again and recommend them to anyone moving in our area. We were done in about 5 hours and every minute of that they were moving, working and being efficient. I seriously don't know where the business owner found these guys. A note on the business owner, Chris too...Chris came to our house himself to do the estimate for us. He was polite, interested and diligent during the estimate process and further proof of how good he is at this, he estimated our move time almost to the minute, I think he only over estimated by 15 minutes. That made it super easy for us to budget for moving day. Also, Chris called us the day after our move to see how it went which was a great touch. I can imagine if anything had gone wrong he would have wanted to know about it.

The estimate was a little lower than the actual cost, but it was worth it.

It was a great experience, from the owner to the movers. Everyone was professional and respectful of us and our things. Would absolutely use them again!

Chris came to our home to walk through and discuss what we wanted moved so that he could provide an accurate estimate. He gave us several tips to help minimize the cost, as well as some great advice on how to pack. In the end, his estimate was within 30 minutes of the actual time it took to move everything. Chris and his crew were on time, worked hard, and took great care with our furniture. They made a point to ask which pieces were most important to us so they could apply extra wrapping or padding. In addition, they were friendly and polite despite a long day of lifting and carrying our stuff. We would happily hire them again.

Chris and his team were polite and friendly and worked their tails off!  In one day, they loaded up our old office and got it taken to our new office and unloaded.  On the unloading side, they used the system we had setup with color coding of boxes and marked areas and just ran with it.  They provided us with excellent service that really gave us extra time to get settled into our new office environment.  Everything we needed that day, they provided.  We couldn't have had a successful move with them!

They are friendly and professional.  They came out before the move to a**** what they would need and to give a quote.  They quote a standard 5 hour job for $110 / hr, which seems pretty standard for the area.  They came in, moved the stuff well and quickly and safely.  They ended up finishing in under 5 hours and we paid lower than the quoted amount.  This was the second time I used them and they are just nice and easy to work with.

Overall, I was very satisfied. They showed up when they said they would and worked hard to get the job done. The crew was courteous and responsive to requests and directions. I would use Horizon again for a local move. Chris, the owner, struck me as honest and forthright.

Horizon Movers owner, Chris, made an amazing impression when he arrived to give an estimate and immediately jumped in to help me move a refrigerator just because it needed to be done. Amazing experience from beginning to end with this company. Maybe not the cheapest crew around but still reasonably priced, as movers go, and definitely worth the bit extra for the quality service and peace of mind. The crew were professional, friendly and took care with all our belongings. They communicated well during the packing and moving process and came in a bit under the estimated cost. Would gladly use them again without further thought or research. Highly recommended!
