Jason Olson is an independent contractor who also does business under names like Kelley’s Complete and Custom Creations. He is personable, seems knowledgeable and talks a good game. We hired him to do some work in our basement. Unfortunately, his workmanship didn’t match up. He assured us he would resolve the issues. However he never came by to even look at the problems. It was around two months of excuses and broken promises, then he stopped even responding to phone calls and we had to hire a different contractor to fix his botched work. The worst was the basement flooring. It peaked and buckled in different places because he didn’t properly space it from the walls, ran a portion far too long without an expansion joint and messed up the subfloor installation in an area. We found a website called Iowa Courts Online Search. Jason Olson is listed there in a number of small claims court cases. It also indicated he has some police actions including credit card fraud and theft.
Description of Work: Install basement flooring, repair stairs and paint walls
