Blaine was interested in my husband's goals from the start. He asked for permission to question Michael about his condition and current abilities. After about 20 minutes of careful probing investigation, he offered us a solution that would get Michael into a recumbent trike immediately. In fact, that very day Michael was able to ride the trike around the parking lot. We have since taken delivery of the trike, and in the process we met the rest of the staff at Xtreme Wheels. Every one of them has been knowledgable, concerned, helpful, and more than encouraging about our ambitions. They all focus on getting their clients moving and improving, which is our goal too. I am very happy that Xtreme Wheels is the shop we chose, and I unreservedly recommend them to anyone interested in bicycles or tricycles for whatever age.
Description of Work: My husband is a partial paraplegic; he's mostly confined to a wheelchair but has some use of his legs. He has been wanting to use our stationary exercise bicycle, but he isn't able to keep his feet on the pedals. His ultimate goal was to improve well enough (in a year or so) to transition to a recumbent tricycle. We went to Xtreme Wheels to ask for advice about how to attach some kind of strap to the stationary bike's pedals.
