HOWE REMODELING

He changes his mind about things. They are not the quickest but they do okay. They are not the most punctual kind of people but I understand the workload that they have. I would still go and use him in the future if needed.

Mr Howe showed up on time, walked the property with me, took my information, and promised to get right back to me with an estimate. He then took three business days, sandwiched around the weekend, to respond to me. I left several messages and talked to him a couple of times reinforcing my short time line. Today, I come home to a letter from Mr Howe - still no phone contact since Friday despite several messages - stating that the contractor forms that Wells Fargo requires all prospective 203(k) contractors to fill out - business, license, and insurance information - were too invasive and that they had no right to investigate him or his business and no right to his personal information, While I respect his right to privacy, I did tell him upfront about the forms and the requirements. He states in his letter that he did not even look at the forms until Monday evening. He displayed a lack of courtesy and an appalling lack of professionalism. His willingness to waste my time, to not even contact me in person or over the phone, and his naivety regarding a federal entity(FHA) and it's requirements for contractors is nothing short of astonishing. I would not refer or use Mr Howe for any projects.

I am satisfied with the end product. They were not the most timely folks in the world, but I find that to be true with a lot of contractor's in the area. I would use them again under certain circumstances.
