"Thank you for your kind review. We enjoyed working with you and hope to see you again."
"I want to apologize for the lateness of this response but I wasnt not aware of this review til today. We have done work for the member for approximately 2 years. The 1st time we did work for him we were out on New Years Eve 2009 & the temperature that night was Approx -20 and we had to replace his thermocouple on his boiler that was original to the house in 1965. Very friendly people. He has a propane gas boiler in tha basement. He also an air handler that is up in his attic with a ac that sits outside. From what we can tell the ac was also put in when the house was built in 1965. Both systems he had from when we were last out there are operational but it has been our recommendation that they need replacing due to age and condition. When we did our estimate, we wanted to be sure we gave the member a complete evaluation to properly size their home since they were going from a gas boiler to an all electric system in ther home. It was determined that we were going to need to upgrade the electrical to convert their HVAC system to all electric, primarily for the electric backup that is required for the airhandler in the attic.. The customer at that time was wanting to get a tax credit & maximum rebates we had to go with a heatpump & air handler that met that criteria per his request.. The customer needed a 5ton 20 SEER American Standard unit for what he needed when we sized the house & to meet the customers criteria for the tax credit &the project got to be real expensive.. We gave the customer that proposal & it was very expensive that included the electrical upgrade. We did discuss less expensive options that didnt qualify for for the Federal Tax Credit but would satisfy his needs but it was indicated that he wasn't interested at that point. As I explained at that time to meet the Federal Tax Credit with his all electric system was much more difficult then it was on a conventional system. When Aire Serv is called to do a estimate, its our job to do a complete analysis & talk to the customer, ask questions to be sure we are getting what they want and presenting options. We do a load calculation & explain the pros & cons of each system. At the end of they day its the consumer that chooses what makes sense & what doesn't. We dont sell on price, its about what is it the customer needs & wants and tailoring the system to fit what they need. When we come visit a customer we can take up to 2 hours between evaluation & analisys to be able to give the customer options. I'd encourage anyone who has questions to please call Travis Waldstein with Aire Serv Heating & Air Conditioning @ 712-256-4443. Have a Great Day!!"
