Dickerson Mechanical is a family owned and operated business started in 1993 by George Dickerson. Our employees have extensive knowledge and experience in residential and commercial heating and cooling systems, geothermal, radiant in-floor heat, boilers, plumbing, electrical, and on-site waste water systems, water & sewer lines, new construction, remodels and service. Subcontractors utilized for carpentry, sheetrock, and painting on remodel projects and to install loops for geothermal HVAC systems. Licensing Details: We hold State of Iowa licenses for Plumbing, HVAC, Refrigeration, Hydronics, Electrical. We are licensed to install Onsite Waste Water Systems in Polk, Jasper, Dallas, and Story Counties. We hold a Plumbing Contractor's License for the City of Des Moines. 24-Hour Service Hotline Dickerson Mechanical is a member of the Better Business Bureau, Colfax Chamber of Commerce, Altoona Chamber of Commerce, Iowa Onsite Waste Water Association, and the National Federation of Independent Business. We believe in giving back to our community and have received recognition for various projects, including gifts to school sports programs, concession stand renovations, ball fields, Habitat for Humanity, and extensive work on the City of Colfax's park projects.
