I purchased a whirpool large capacity high energy washer and dryer 3.5 years ago from NFM. They delivered and installed. I started to have a leakage problem on the washer about 5 or 6 months ago. It was sporatic and not a large amt of water after each cycle. The washer dryer is located in basement near a drain so it wasnt a high priority to repair. It started getting worse and on every cycle. I had it repaired by a local appliance repair firm because as far as I know NFM only delivers with minimal to no installation skills. I had to have a major part replaced that is part of the valve system on the washer where it connects to the hose. The washer valve was stripped. It was stripped by the delivery men at time they hooked up the hoses to make it operational. They didnt thread it properly and had to re thread and stripped the plastic valve. I had to pay $345 to repair. I am not pursuing NFM as its is almost 4 years and long out of warranty and I know they will claim since it didnt leak originally and it wasnt their fault. You get what you pay for I guess. Basically I paid a retail store to sell and deliver appliances that had no business hooking them up. I should have gone to a retail appliance dealer that also does repairs and professionally installs and services. NFM used some $10 an hr morons to install appliances that are beyond their skill level. Live and learn I guess. Also, while I love the NFM omaha location for furniture I dont think their appliance prices warrant forgoing professional installation and follow up service work you might get somewhere else.

It took two days to install. They had 2 guys here installing the carpet. Its been a good experience. They have a great price.

Good price on the flooring, a lot of hidden unnecessary charges for the install quote. I ended up using a different company for the install and tile tear out and saved around $1000. Very good prices on the product but will get you on the install.

They have good prices and they have good service. Their scheduling of installation was terrible. It took me about a month and a half to get my floor in. I don't think he knew he was doing. They took out my flooring. In about a week before it was supposed to be installed, they told me that it had been discontinued. I went and took the different flooring which was in stock. I lost my installation date which I thought was their problem and not my problem. In the kitchen, you have to put things in a certain order and I had them slotted in for their time period and they blew their time period. I was very unhappy. They need to make sure that they can deliver what they say they're going to deliver. They need to keep their word.

The experience was frustrating from the very beginning. We ordered flooring from a U.S.-based mill and the turnaround time was 4-6 weeks. That time came and went and when I finally called back to follow up, I was told there wasn't enough wood to complete the order so they had to make an entirely new batch--no idea why no one felt that we needed to know this information. When that was finally done, our sales guy tried to move us up in the installation rotation since we ordered three months ago but no dice. We waited and the week before Christmas, they installed the floor. Or most of it. There was one piece of trim that they couldn't get right, so they ordered and reordered several times to get the right one. Then when the trim came in, no one bothered to call, so we waited another month until I followed up again and found out the trim was in and just sitting there. The communication was not good, until I eventually got passed along to the assistant store manager. He called me more often but had nothing to offer--a small store credit and his apology. We spent nearly $8k on flooring and it was a terrible experience. We ordered in October, the floors were installed in late December, and the trim wasn't finished until January. I would recommend you look elsewhere for hardwood flooring installation. This was just a major headache.

Purchasing the carpet, picking out samples, and my treatment in the store was A plus! They wanted to help me find what I wanted. Their prices were competitive. In my several times going there, the store director came out and meet me as did other people in the department. They were very friendly.

NFM is one of the best places I have ever dealt with. I have bought appliances, furniture, elctronicss, etc, from them for almost two decades and they have never disappointed me. This instance was no different. The sales guy got us to the best option, the delivery/installation guys did a great job. They made sure they paid the utmost attention to our railings, walls, and counter tops as they did their job. Nebraska Furniture Mart is the best!

Ordering was fairly easy. Salesperson was knowledgeable. Delivery was fine. We did all installation but the fridge. The fridge came damaged, they replaced it gracefully, and pieced tow damaged fridges together in order to make one whole one. The problems began when pieces of the fridge broke almost immediately, and I couldn't get help to get replacement parts. We live with the irritation. I also needed a replacement gasket for a cooktop, they could/would not help. I found the part myself on the web for a few bucks. Overall, it was a good experience. They did suggest I get an extended warranty on the fridge, but who wants to invoke the warranty on a behemoth like the fridge when only minor parts are a problem? If it breaks altogether, I think I'm covered for a while.
