As a Realtor for more than 31 years, I've worked with many loan originators. Hands down the best I've ever worked with is Dave Steffen. Dave provides a high level of service to my clients whether they're buying a $50,000 home or a $500,000 home. He realizes that this transaction is of utmost importance to the client, and he treats them with courtesy and respect. He has often gone out of his way to provide my clients with needed guidance and service. One example of Dave's service is when, quite late of an evening, a client of mine wanted to make an offer on an acreage which was in a relocation program, where pre-approval was a requirement before an offer would even be considered. Since they had been looking casually for more than a year, and since I knew them quite well, I hadn't had them pre-approved. I had planned to have them pre-approved when they got serious about looking and buying an acreage. When we found this home, we knew it wouldn't last long, so my clients wanted to jump on it. I called Dave pretty late in the evening and he took their information, went into his office and processed their application, and had them pre-approved within about an hour so that they could get their offer to buy presented and accepted before anyone else could buy it out from under them.
