I have him $600 for two new windows and he kept telling me that his supplier was behind and that they would be available "next week" for 12 weeks. When they finally came in I told him that I wanted to be there for the installation. I came home for lunch one morning and there he was with my siding off, pulling out the old windows. I withheld payment of $400 for 12 weeks while trying to get the manufacturer information to see if I could deduct the windows from my taxes. During that time he put a business card of a police officer in my door with a note indiating there was a suit filed against me for non-payment. I called him and confronted him with the lie (no suit was filed, thisi was just harrasment) and told him that I required specific performance prior to him recieving final payment. When he gave me the information that I asked for I sent a check.
