 + -1 moreWe took my daughters 1991 Toyota Corolla in for exhaust work. We arrived a little early for the appointment, and they got it right in. After checking it out, they told us the pipe between the catalytic converter was rusted out, but the muffler, flex pipe and cat all looked ok. They simply replaced the pipe and sent us on our way for under a 100 bucks, and in less than 45 minutes. Very honest people. We'll use 'em again.

Description of Work: It was great, I was very happy with the service. I called first thing in the morning on a Friday because my muffler had just started making a lot of noise. I was planning on going out of town for the weekend so I was in a panic. I took my car in on my lunch hour, and was given an estimate of $40ish for the description of the problem. I said that was great, and to please call me before they did anything if it was going to be something more serious. I got a call a couple hours later saying it was ready and it was $45 after tax. They patched the hole and it was good as new. I was very happy, and the gentleman was very friendly. I wish they did more than just muffler service because I feel I could completely trust them to be honest with me (which is tough when you're a female taking a car in for repair).

 + 0 moreI went there once, and my aunt uses them a lot and she is very happy with them. I was very happy with them the one time I went there. They are very honest, and trustworthy. They got me right in. They are wonderful, I would go there in a heartbeat, in fact I am going to go get a muffler fixed there as soon as I have the time. I would 100% recommend them, they are very very awesome. You don't get the feeling that you are being misled or lied to. They do good work, and no surprises.
Description of Work: I used Professional Muffler Inc. They bled my brakes. My neighbor tried to fix something and the brakes wouldn't work, and they put them on the machine and bled them, and straightened them.

 + 0 moreThese guys are great. They fixed what turned out to be a small problem (disconnected pipe) and only charged me 40 bucks. If it had been Midas, I'm almost certain they would have replaced the entire exhaust system and charged me 300 bucks.

 + 0 moreThere guys were great. They had to order the catalytic converter and got it in one day. They receive the car the following day and had the repairs completed by noon. Courteous and fair price (the dealer was going to be more than twice as expensive). The manager, Randy, is excellent.

The experience dealing with Professional Muffler Inc really lived up to their name. Fast, friendly, helpful and patient enough to explain details. Waiting in the lobby talking with other customers I heard many good comments about this shop. Considering that they returned to their former location after our 2008 flood. A painted waterline mark shows how much water they took (looks like 9 feet). I am glad to give them my work, because they earned it.
Description of Work: Purchased a used 1996 Saturn SC2 needing exhaust work. They promply installed a lifetime muffler explaining that it was a smarter buy than the standard muffler because of the location which was prone to rust here in Iowa. I still thought I was hearing too much exaust noise and they test drove the car and explained the noise was coming from bad motor mounts which vibrated into the car. The muffler was $128 installed. Replacement of the top right motor mount and a lower transmission/motor mount was $221. They came in under their $253 estimate reporting that the actual work was done faster than the book said it would take. Randy is very friendly and genuinely interested in helping. The tech Ben who did the motor mount work was very helpful in explaining just what was going on and showed the removed mounts explaining how and why noise and vibration was being sent into the cabin of the car. Muffler install was quick 20 minutes or so. Motor mounts took less than 2 hours and that included having parts delivered to the shop. I really like this company and will return again.
