concrete repair
 + -1 moreWe had a real mess because he dug out the sidewalk in October and it was getting too late to pour. Since he never returned out phone calls or messages we were left with a dug out sidewalk all winter long. The city of Cedar Rapids also tried several times to talk to him but he never came back. We had to pay someone else in the Spring to pour the concrete. We are out the $750.
Description of Work: Patrick James gave us a bid, which we accepted to repair parts of our sidewalk. He said he needed 1/2 of the money as a downpayment. Which we gave him ( $750.00) He dug out the old sidewalk and hauled it away and never came back. He would not answer his phone or return phone calls. We took him to small claims court and we have a judgement against him for this amount. I have run into him accidently several times.. He always "promises" he will pay me "tomorrow".
