I called to request an appointment for cleaning our air conditioner on a Monday and they were able to do it that Thursday. Service man arrived right on time and was very friendly and personable. Explained all that he did and provided the form to mail in for a rebate from Alliant. Anytime I have to call in to the office, I am treated like we are the only customers they have! Very friendly and helpful staff! We have recommended them to others.

Regarding January's call, Lin's responded and the next day replaced a faulty gas control valve (likely 50 years old). ($800) For June, it was the same technician as January; he was professional and completed the work expeditiously. The tech was over an hour and half past the expected time but I try to remain understanding (none of my projects go as quick as I feel they should). There were 5.5 inspections ($425)

Called after hour service number, got a recording and left message for an emergency service call need. An hour later called again, got a recorded message and left message. Did this again. Never did get a call back. I called as soon as the office opened the next day and they had a technician at our house mid morning.He diagnosed and repaired the problem.

Our central air conditioner was developing loud vibration noises and was not cooling very well. We called LINS because of numerous good experiences with them in the past. LINS scheduled an appointment quickly and even arrived a little ahead of the appointed time. The performed a standard check of the system and discovered that the refrigerant was a little low. They recharged the refrigerant and tightened all the sheet metal screws to eliminate the vibrations. The unit now runs like new. The service technician was very professional.

Three of the check-ups were uneventful. The company representative said that our second furnace might have a cracked heat exchanger, that the flame wobbles, but he can't see crack. Recommended we get CO2 detector.
