About us
VB&S began as a joint venture between Jason "V"estweber, Sue "B"yers and a great play on words. Vestweber, Byers & Sellers, or VB&S, is a full service real estate provider and can assist you with each and every aspect of buying or selling real estate. Sue has been in the real estate business for over 30 years. In 2010 she made the transition to Skogman Realty and shortly after invited Jason Vestweber to join her. Jason came on-board in order to help with the creation of VB&S. Jason spent the previous five plus years with AEGON and Transamerica here in Cedar Rapids. Jason is now driving VB&S and was awarded "Newcomer of the Year" by the Cedar Rapids Area Association of REALTORS for 2011. He and his Skogman Realty team will be your primary point of contact. VB&S wants to earn your referrals by making your real estate experience the very best it can be. Please call for your one-on-one conversation.

While Jason showed me a couple of properties, when it came time that I wanted to list two properties of my own he seemed very disinterested and advised me to continue advertising on Craigslist. I think he didn't want to be associated or deal with anything other than prime real estate and one of my houses was very nice... but in a neighborhood that is considered undesirable. The other was an in town acreage that had a good garage, but the house needed to be raised or completely redone.
I think real estate agents should take anything offered as you never know what other business it will lead to. But Jason was always friendly, prompt and not afraid to submit an offer that was low.
Because of his first impression, I would have used him to buy the hose I bought in October for $118,000. But when he showed such disinterest in selling my properties, it made feel as if he looked down on me. For that reason I stopped using him.
