Throughout the process, Denise introduced unnecessary complications and issues into the transaction. She demonstrated a serious lack of integrity when she (in front of the buyers, at the closing) asked our realtor to pay for items, that she (in writing) volunteered to pay for. Due to numerous problems with the buyers financing (causing the date from purchase contract to closing to take 75 days) costing us over an extra thousand dollars (compared to a standard 30 day closing) I didn't feel compelled to give into a demand that the buyers decided to make a week before the closing date. I also explicitly requested our realtor not to give in to the buyers' request. I did this because I knew that our realtor, being the professional that she is, would have taken care of it, just to ease the tension. The situation was "resolved" when Denise sent all parties an e-mail, saying "I will pay for the units to be replaced. End of story." I wish that had been the end of the story. Instead, she asked our realtor to compensate her for half of the expense at the closing table. I mean, come on...who does that kind of thing? She made the commitment on her own, she should have delivered on the commitment, on her own. It really disgusts me to know that some of the money that I had to pay in realtor commissions, went to pay her. I hope that people read this and find out what kind of a person she is, before they work with her and find out the hard way. People like her don't belong in a business where they are guiding people to spend thousands of dollars.
