DEAN DRISCOLL CONSTRUCTION

They started off tearing off the siding, which was slate siding that was original when the house was built in 1923 and breaking most of them by throwing them on the ground. I was told they would be reusing them. I told them they were to reuse them and they then were more careful. They performed the work really well and got the door moved and installed a new door frame assembly in one day. They they told me I needed new slate siding and they found some that would work. When they installed it I went out to look at it and it wasn't even close to looking the same. It was wood grained fiberboard and I have straight lined slate. I got on the phone and said something to Dean Driscoll and he became very defensive about getting the work done on time and that's all they could do. I told him the correct siding was available at another distributor and he said he wasn't buying another thing for my home. I wasn't going to pay for any work done until my house had the correct siding on it. We argued back and forth for a couple of days and decided that I would buy the siding and he would put it on at no cost, which I know I was already paying for in the first place. I will never use Dean Driscoll Construction again for any kind of work only because of the owner.
