A major problem with the work was a poor power washing. Several spots were missed or cleaned unevenly. To stain, they used a power sprayer and followed this with a small roller. This roller often could not get into all the corners of the thick lap siding. This technique resulted in many runs and drips. Back brushing should have been done instead. They did not always use tarps or other covering to protect roof shingles and electric meters from overspray, and paver walkways under the decks from drips. They did not cover two of the windows when spraying, resulting in overspray on the frame that could not completely be removed. They occasionally stained while in bright sunlight, which was explicitly warned about on the stain can label. They failed to fully inspect their work after doing a task. On the plus side, they attempted to fix the problems when I pointed them out. However, for many of the problems, it was too late to fix them.
