It is probably the best in this area. When they diagnostic it accurately on the basis of what it is. I don't have to go back and pay more money. I know what they tell me needs to be done and they are not telling me that they think something needs to be done, they do it, and it turns out to be something else. What I pay for is an actual repair, and I think that is good. The second thing is that they are pretty good about figuring out what sort of parts that go on are the most cost effective, and last long. One of my car has 140,000 and the other one has 120,000 miles on it, and I could probably keep them until they are 200,000 miles because they keep them so well. I have used them for the last 20 years.

I have been using Schuerman's for many years and trust them completely with my cars. They have given me advice NOT to do an expensive repair when other repair shops have recommended that I do one. I trust their advice completely and believe they have my best interests in mind.
However, they can be booked pretty far out. They can sometimes get you in the next day or two if your car isn't running at all, but most of the time it will be a week or two. They will advise you over the phone if they think you'll be OK driving during that time or if you should go elsewhere.
Service is always polite and they never attempt to upsell.

They did a great job, at a reasonable cost, but the unit failed while I was on an extended tri out of state. The out of state mechanic conferred with Eric at Schuerman's -- they put in a bypass pully to keep me on the road. When I got back, Schuerman's replaced the bad unit at no charge, and even gave me a refund for a significant part of what I spent on the out of state mechanic. You can't ask for better than that! These guys are thorough, professional, and won't gouge you. Jim Schuerman grew up here, has been around for years, and has a great crew. My family relies on them.

Jeremy worked on my car, he was up front about all work being done and gave me the least expensive options. They got my car in and out within a day every time that I have taken it in. I was really pleased with the experience and will continue to go for them for any future automotive needs.
