My expectations might be high, but my experience getting a pedicure at Jiva was not amazing. The woman who gave me my pedicure did not seem to pay a lot of attention to detail. I felt I spent more time soaking that actually receiving any service. I love other staff and services at Jiva, but I will not be getting another pedicure from their current nail technician.

I went to Jiva because I got a gift certificate for Christmas for a massage, mani and pedi. I figured it would be a great time to use all of these right before my sister's wedding so that my nails would be done. Started out with the massage which was FANTASTIC. Best massage that I have ever had. Then I had my pedicure done which was good and even more relaxing. Lastly was my manicure which went great until I had to put my boots back on and I pretty much messed up my entire manicure. The girl was great she took the time to help me find a similar color for the wedding but I could buy the bottle so just in case something happened after I left I could redo them. She redid all of my nails, but before she reminded me to pay, get my boots on and coat so that I was ready to go as soon as she was done. Great service and I am returning to get my hair done by this girl as we just connected and I felt so comfortable with her.

Ok, I normally don't leave reviews unless I totally disagree with another reviewer...My 19 year old daughter and I have been going to Jiva for hair cuts for 4 years now. My daughter's hair is thick and long and mine is shoulder length and curly to the point of frizziness. We have always had re4ally good haircuts and styles. Yes, the price is on the high side of normal, but we have always enjoyed our experiences there. I have never had my hair straightened chemically at Jiva, though. I did several years ago in California and hated it. It dried my hair out and didn't really straighten it. Maybe straightening chemically just doesn't work?

`I think they are bad in comparison to a real spa, especially for treatments like facial or massages, the setup is not ideal; infact is real small. The facial is very superficial in comparison to a spa. I have curly hair and the people they have are from a beauty salon, who tried to charge me extra as my hair was difficult to manage. They said they don't do anything with ethnic hair, where I don't find anything ethnic about having any curly hair. I tried them 3 times; everything they tried to straighten in, it wasn't straight, infact they left it messy. I will never recommend them and for the services they provide they are expensive. I will never use them again in the future.
