I had them replace my roof the work does seems good but there crew left my gutters damaged I feel that when they give you a price for labor and materials that should be the price I should not have to pay extra material and labor cost this was not hidden damage they just did not have enough material and I could not tell if all material that was delivered first time was the amount in the quote they Did not any invoices from there suppliers actually did not, break down extra cost till I asked for it. I am an electrician by trade if I gave them a price for wiring a house and needed an extra 500ft. Of wire to complete the job I am sure they would tell me to bad you did not figure enough wire. All I am saying not having all material delivered to a job site and then bring in extra is a an old trick to get a little extra out of a client I am not saying this is what they did I cannot prove it either way but I have heard of this happening just watch your contractor.
Response from Fairbanks Builders

"Very sorry that you feel you were not treated fairly. We bid your project based on the number of shingle squares it would wood take, it ran a little over. We did repairs to damaged areas of your roof providing new sheeting and labor which and billed at a very paltry amount. My son did negotiate with you on the extras per contract and credited you less than half of our costs. I did not hear from you to discuss your feelings about being treated unfairly. Having been in this business for 50 years not treating customers fairly is not what we do. We don't do tricks. if you would like to discuss this further and come to a reasonable arrangement."
