Dream Home Inspection has performed thousands of home inspections in Central Iowa over the course of the last 16 years. We are a state certified radon measurement specialist. We have performed thousand of radon tests as well. We are state certified to perform wood destroying insect (WDI-typically referred to as termite inspections in the real estate world) inspections. We use thermal imaging in our inspections on areas where the inspector feels that it is useful and/or needed.

Home inspections-A comprehensive inspection of the property is performed with a computer generated report given to the client the same day as the inspection. Radon Testing-Testing a home for radon is recommended every 2 years. Whether the home already has a radon mitigation system installed or not, it should be tested. Sewer Scans-The sewer line (lateral) from the home to the city hook-up is not visible to a home inspector during a typical home inspection. We have the appropriate equipment and training to offer this service to our clients. Damaged sewer lines can cost thousands of dollars to be fixed or replaced.
