I've used these guys twice now - same day response on a stuck opener. Very reasonably priced - highly recommend.

Our garage door broke on Thanksgiving and would not raise or lower. DM Door was willing to come out that evening, but we had them arrive the next day and they told us a spring was broken. Part was ordered and they even came back out once to help make sure our vehicles were out and door was down so we felt secure until part arrived. Price was as quoted. Garage door is quieter than ever. Would definitely use again.

it was great. I called in the afternoon and they were able to come first thing the next morning to open my garage door. They had all the right parts, tools and experience to deliver on my expectations and then some.

My original call was answered promptly and Dan and Paul came that day. They replaced both cables on the door in question and did some minor service on both doors. I told them I was considering replacing both garage doors and Dan presented me with the options they had available. I made the decision as to which door I preferred and was told it would be two to three weeks before the doors arrived and the work could be done. Dan also told me that since I chose to replace the doors, he would not charge me for the service call. Two to three weeks later, Dan called to say the doors had arrived and they could install them that day if that would be OK. I told him I would be available all day and was told they would be there about mid day after they completed another job. Shortly after noon they arrived and the work was completed in about three hours.

Besides being prompt to do what they said, both Dan and Paul were very friendly and were willing to answer any and all questions I had and made sure I got what I needed. They cleaned up after they were finished and removed the old doors and all the old hardware. This is the second time I have dealt with Des Moines Door and they would be the first ones I would call if I needed any further garage door service.

I had the horizontal spring above one of my garage doors break one night several years ago. The next morning I had trouble opening the heavy wooden door. I called Des Moines Door not knowing anything about them at the time. The man from the company came promptly and had the spring replaced and adjusted in no time at all. He was friendly and courteous and I couldn't have been happier with all aspects of the experience. I would certainly not hesitate to call Des Moines Door for any future project.
