The Maids of the Quad Cities

They did OK, neither disappointing, nor wowing. That is oftentimes good, as it was here. My wife and I were traveling up until two (2) days before Christmas and they came through.

They did a great job.  I am going to use them on a schedule of every other week.  It is a great relief that I do not have to spend my whole weekend trying to clean house.

The employees did a decent job initially and were well supervised.  However, the supervisor quit and from that point on, we saw the thoroughness of the cleaning go downhill.  We weren't able to get them to tell us whether they would arrive in the morning or afternoon, no matter how many times we asked for a call at the beginning of the day.  During one of our cleanings, the staff was about 35 minutes into the job, which  normally take less than an hour, and the owner called and pulled the crew off our job to clean a house for some other customer.  The crew had to return later in the day to finish 20 minutes worth of cleaning.  This gave us a clear picture of how little our business meant to the company.

The 1st visit was great , house was cleaned and sparkled, The service has gone downhill from there, They tend to break items and then just put it back with the broken piece next to it and not even bother to let anyone know, They broke the glass light fixture on the kitchen ceiling fan (they did replace those 3 weeks later) they have broken 2 statues, a trophy not to mention a very deep scratch in the dining room buffet. I have scratched up baseboards and after they leave I can run my hand accross the piano and end tables and still have dust. Very dis-satisfied and have decided not to use them anymore, Just wish I could find a reliable honest replacement.

I paid them extra to do above what they would normally do on a regular job. I asked them to wash walls and stuff like that. I paid extra for a little bit of additional work. The pricing was a little steep; it was average. I would use them again.
