Dave came out and took detailed measurements for custom replacements and provided a supporting quote for the work. He showed up promptly at the agreed upon time and dates, cleaned up after himself each day. With the cold weather we are experiencing in late November in the upper Midwest, he would remove an old window, and install the replacement prior to moving on to the next window. We had one window that the supporting structural lumber had rotted out. Dave replaced the rotted lumber at no additional cost. All windows fit the old openings, even the arched overhead opening over one window. He replaced three to four openings per day. He even fixed an exterior door that had been a nuisance. The final bill was exactly the same as his original quote.
Dave is very detail oriented and was very courteous during the entire time. We plan to have him back next spring/summer to replace the other half of the windows.
Will have him replace my basement windows too and will write a comment when the work is complete.
Dave was recommended to us by my sister; she too was happy with his work. I would definitely consider Dave when I replace doors in the future.
