We were pleased with Perennial Garden?s design but dismayed by their lack of horticultural expertise. We had a pretty looking garden until half of it died. We hired Perennial Gardens to design and install a garden. To hide an unsightly border fence, they planted 5, 6-foot Tvurdy yews. Unfortunately, 4 of the yews died over the winter. The shrubs were guaranteed, however, when replaced, the 4 yews were substituted with 3, 5-foot yews, much smaller in diameter. Apparently, planting 4 yews had contributed to their deaths. If this had been the original design, we would never have approved it: the yews look awful and even when mature will not hide the fence. We were happy to work with Linda to come up with a solution; however, she was not willing to take responsibility for this. We requested to be reimbursed for the 4th yew, but Linda has refused. In the end, we feel that we were taken.
