I got them through Angie's List but we were not too happy with them. It was really hot out there and we had them clear some brush and we thought they left a lot more, they didn't get it low enough. The price is really hard to tell because I don't know what other places would have charged. The thing I didn't like about them is that they didn't really give us an estimate in writing. They just talked about it. That is partly our fault, we should have gotten that. They were responsive enough. I would tell a friend or family member to be sure to get an estimate in writing. That is what we didn't do and the total came out quite a bit more than he had estimated. They should have cut the brush lower than they did. I know that it was really hot the day that they did it. Sometimes I wish that workers would just say, 'It is too hot today, we will get together with you when the weather is better.' They just go ahead sometimes. Sometimes it is not a good thing.

"I'm sorry your not completely happy with our work. I strive to have happy customers and finish the job as best as anyone can do. It was very hot out those days. As far as estimate .The huge area of brush was hard to determine how many loads .it was one load more. Which I gave discount on. Someone else would charged $1500 - $2000 It was very very thick with trees. 30' x 20' area approx. I cut them as close to the ground as I could. Again Sorry if your not happy. You didn't tell me otherwise I would have tried to change that."

A renovation project was about to result in a small mountain of old lath and plaster on my kitchen floor -- too much for me to handle on my own, and I needed the work done on a tight schedule. Kevin promptly returned my call and provided a written estimate for the work, including landfill fees, that same day. Kevin's team started the work right on time. It was a tough, heavy, dusty job but they got it done within a couple of hours, taking care to sweep the area clean afterward. I was very pleased with the work and will certainly have Kaveman at the top of my list future hauiling needs.

Keith and his partner worked in the intermittent rain to cut apart a large shed and haul it and other debris away. They were efficient and thorough and very detail oriented. I didn't have to sweep up or clean up a single bit of anything after they had left! Keith is very helpful, communicative and prompt. He was specific and honest about what would be included in the service and had excellent follow-through.

Kevin showed up promptly at our scheduled appointment time.  He and I walked through the area and he provided me with a quote at that time.  I thought his quote was very reasonable and agreed to it.  He and his staff came prepared to complete the work at that time - the job took him between 60 and 90 minutes.  They did everything they said they were going to and left the place in great shape.  I loved that Kevin was so prompt with getting the work done - he was very clear when I first communicated with him about what his available time was so it was nice to be able to plan accordingly and actually have him stick to that (not all vendors are like that).  I would definitely call him again!

Kaveman and his partner arrived with a good sized truck and hauled off a bunch of junk. I was charged $24.00 extra for 24 cans of toxic materials and $25.00 extra for a dehumidifier (because of it's coil). This was fair.

I had an email response within minutes of sending a message through the interface on his website.  Kevin asked for some photos of the brush piles, I provided those pictures, and he set up a time right away.
Kevin showed up promptly on Tuesday morning - ahead of schedule from what I expected.  I was at work.  He gave me a call, picked up the brush, and emailed me an invoice.  He said he'd make it look like there were never piles there, and he was correct. I've already recommended him to my neighbor as well.

Kevin was straight up from the beginning---no surprises...  He told me the dehumidifier disposal would be an extra $25 charge. He told me that he could not fit all of it in a single load, but will offer me a good discount on a second (partial) load.  I opted for 1 load and to systematically eliminate the rest of it through our weekly garbage pickup (which was probably a mistake on my part because it was way too much effort to save $125).  I requested that he leave behind only the small stuff.  We scheduled a time and he delivered!---actually he hauled!  He did not short-change me at all----he loaded his truck to the very max and really packed it in.  He had to leave behind a whole bunch of small stuff---exactly as I requested----which took me 3 weeks of garbage pickup to eliminate completely.  I would recommend Kevin's services, and I would call him again if the need arises.  Next time I think I'll go ahead and pay for the extra partial load, too!

Kevin showed up on time and did exactly what we agreed he would do.  I wasn't there while they performed the work, but I was there for him to start, and he asked the right questions.  When I came back, he and his crew had very neatly cleaned up after themselves and the work was good quality, too.

I called, they came the same day, at 5pm when I said I would be home.  He gave me an estimate, I accepted, and he said since he was there, he would just take the items with him right then.  $150 is reasonable for the hauling and fees I am sure it cost to download that junk somewhere that would even accept it.  The water softener was filled with salt pellets that had caked together, years ago.  All this stuff had been in the basement storeroom when we purchased the house 4 years ago, so I was really glad to see it go!

I called Kevin and arranged to have an estimate to haul an old double-well sink that was in my basement, two large slabs of stone and numerous railroad ties from an old retaining wall. He responded quickly to give me an estimate to do the work 10 minutes ahead of the appointed time.
We thought his estimate was very reasonable. We agreed on a day for him and an assistant to return to do the hauling. Again, he arrived slightly ahead of the agreed time. After he arrived, we decided we wanted Kevin to haul some items away that we had originally just asked him to relocate in our yard, and to remove some logs that had been sitting in our back yard for a couple of years. Kevin was very flexible and hauled the additional items away for a reasonable additional charge.
When the work was finished, the areas involved were swept clean, even after I told Kevin he didn't need to worry about sweeping up.
I will definitely use Kaveman Hauling in the future, and recommend them highly.

I have lived in my house for over 10 years and junk just kept piling up in the basement.  To avoid being featured on an episode of horders I looked on Craigslist for someone to haul the junk out.  I am capable of doing it myself, but it was on my list of things to do for over a year and I was not getting to it.  
I called three hauling companies from Craigslist and Kevin was the only one to call me back.  He communicates by text message which is great for a contractor I am sure.  He requested my address by text and texted me when he could fit in the job.  When he came to the house for a free estimate we agreed to a price for $375, but as he got into doing the work I decided to also remove junk from the furnace room which we did not discuss earlier.  He thought that room would be one more truck load of junk and we agreed to increase the price $150.  He was very upfront about the additional costs so none of that was a surprise.
He did a great job and cleaned/ vacuumed the basement floor as well as the stairs he used to move the debris out of the basement.  
The only thing left at the end was a few paint cans.  He offered to take those away for another $100 but I just took them to the Household Hazardous Waste site myself for cheaper.
I was very happy with the work.  The cleanup he did after the job was wonderful.  It was so nice to come home to find the job completed and no mess left behind!  If I knew anyone who needed this service I would highly recommend Kevin from Kaveman Hauling!

I called Kevin on 1/29, and he asked me to text him my address so he could look at the job.  I had him beat out a drywall ceiling on my back porch, hang center bead board panels, trim the panels, and haul away all the demo waste, and I included a bunch more items in my yard as I was out there with him and could figure out what to get rid of.
Kevin showed up on a Monday morning at the time indicated with a helper and worked about a half day.  He came out a second day and knocked the job out that day with two helpers.  He did all the hauling I asked and was flexible when I kept asking if he could hall extra stuff -- I am getting my house ready for sale, so I wanted it all gone.
The workmanship on the paneling is fantastic (even though this was more of an odd job than what seems to be his core business of hauling), and Kevin was easy to work with and professional.  I would definitely recommend him for his promptness, attitude and workmanship.
