She suggested a townhome where she was also the selling agent. The seller stated that there would be a bonus if purchased by a certain date. No question about it, I met that deadline. The bonus was that the seller would pay for two years of taxes. Well, all good real estate agents know that the seller must pay the "back taxes" regardless. A good agent will see that the buyer doesn't get stuck with paying the back taxes. When it came time for me to receive the bonus of 2 years paid taxes Karen said that was between me & the seller. On top of that, I was stuck with the back taxes, too. The seller paid a fourth of the back taxes but I was stuck with the rest. I didn't receive any BONUS at all.
