I have never had better service! The serviceman at Toyota was phenomenal. I had to take my van in 3 times in a month to get things fixed. He found me a courtesy car that would fit two carseats, he helped me switch everything to the courtesy car each time including the carseats, and helped me switch everything back to my van when the fixes were made. It was 90 plus degrees outside, but he stayed with me until everything was switched over and I was ready to go. He was funny, too, which made having to switch everything to the courtesy car for the third time more bearable.

We purchased a 2012 Toyota Avalon from them in October of 2012 with approximately 450 miles on it. We drove down the road a short distance and felt there was a possible tire out of balance. Went back and they rebalanced all the tires which seemed to fix the problem. We have +/- 21K miles on the car. They did a tire rotation September 2013 and the car had a vibration again immediately after. The car was taken back to rebalance the tires and they charged $57.00 and stated there were weights missing and that a rim was bent and a new rim was needed. The cost of the new rim is around $600.00
I called the service department and spoke to a representative in the service department. He stated that he would talk to the appropriate people and get back to me. That was 5 days ago. I just called and the representative stated he had passed the information along to the appropriate person. I confirmed they had the correct phone number.

Very disappointed with them.

The latch worked for a total of a week and then was broken again. When we contacted them about fixing it again, they said it was fixed and would not help us anymore. We ended up having to take it somewhere else and pay out of pocket (the first time was covered by insurance) to have it fixed. The next mechanic said they had not fixed it right the first time.

We bought our Toyota Sienna from Wilson as a pre-owned vehicle about three years ago and normally take it to Wilson for service. We were pleased with the sales representative who sold us the vehicle initially and have also been satisfied with the service. My wife is retired and is the main driver of the vehicle, so it isn't driven very many miles annually. As a result, we don't have a great need to visit Wilson often for service. However, with only one minor exception, all of our expeiences at Wilson have been quite positive.
Note: I rate the overall experience with Wilson Cadillac Toyota Scion a and quot;Band quot;, but that's not bad. They would pretty near have to walk on water to get an and quot;Aand quot;.

allowed us a test drive and even suggested we take the vehicle down a
dirt road to sample the comfort and the AWD. After our visit, the
salesperson sent a very nice email which was not a and quot;pressured sales
pitchand quot;. A very good first encounter.

Their price was reasonable and they are quick. They have always been honest and have not overcharged me for anything. I like them all the way around. They do a good job and if they see something that is wrong they give me advice as to what I can do or not do; they don't charge me first and then tell me what they are going to do. They come out to tell me what is going on and then I can either do it or not do it.

They were my local Toyota dealer when I owned a Toyota. The service department was very good. Their cars cost too much. They sell good cars. They were prompt but I did have to wait. I would use them again.

On May 29th 2009 my wife and I were looking to purchase a new 2008 Solara. Solara was discontinued in 2008 we new the task would be hard. We found one at Wilson Toyota in Ames Iowa. The stick price was $34,242. We started negotiations. Since we didn’t have our trade on hand I asked them the price of the vehicle if they would sell it without a trade and they told $30,000. WOW they came down $4,000 for a car that was 1 ½ years old which included a $2,000 rebate from Toyota. We brought in our 1995 Nissan 240SX with 162,000 miles on it. They told us that they could give us $2,000 for our trade. Price now $28,000. I made them a counter offer of $25,000 and reminded them the Solara already had over 9,000 miles on it and they looked surprised. Now the story changed. The car was used by a Toyota rep driving to dealerships. They dropped the price down to $27,000. I stood firm at $25,000 and finally walked out. That Monday I called the sales rep just to let him know that we were still interested. I couldn’t get a hold of him so I left a message on his voice mail. He didn’t return my call. So, I wrote an email to Wilson Toyota Internet Director, Eric Hippen and told him the story I just shared with you above on June 5, 2009. He returned my email right away. He told me that person was let go on Monday and that he would check into the deal and get back to me after his 9 AM meeting. He did and accepted my deal of $25,000. I asked him to send me the VIN number so I could call my insurance agent. Eric sent me the information plus a copy of the stick - see attached. Then about an hour later I got a phone call from Eric telling me that the rebate was no longer being offered by Toyota so they could not make the deal for $25,000 and the new price was going to be $27,000. I told him I would like to talk with your sales manager. Ron Frandson finally called that night around 7 PM and told me that because Toyota was not offering that rebate any longer he increase his price. Of course, I told him that this was wrong and I don’t feel that I was treated fairly and I felt that Wilson has lied to me thru this whole transaction. We both hung up. Now I am no lawyer by any means and I do think that they broke a contract with me after they even wrote and told me that I have purchased the car for the price I wanted it. The story continues. My wife decided to go return to Wilson to see if they would lower their price and again told her they could not sell the car for less than $27,000 She left and now we are looking for another car. I can’t believe a 2 year only car Toyota would not have a really good deal to get it off their dealerships floor. I would think that Toyota would have offered a rebate of $5,000 for its age and another $5,000 off because it was used by a Toyota Rep to drive. So you would have thought I could have gotten the 2008 used Solara including my trade for $22,000. SO BUYER BEWARE

Not only did they check the brakes, they also caught other issues that were needed. The rate was very reasonable for what was done. They did a test drive with me after the work, so I could see ow the car handles, etc. Very helpful

It was excellent. While they were looking at my car they discovered something else that needed done and they were able to fit me in to do that unexpected work. They had a very comfortable waiting room. I trust them more than anyone. They have been very honest.
