Garbage Collection
Due to a bookkeeping error, they did not credit a payment. It took me ten phone calls over eight days to correct the problem. This is a national company that does not even list its local address in the phone book. Their customer service is what you would expect from a large organization-impersonal and chaotic. I got bounced from call center to call center. Promises to call me back were broken. I since found that a locally owned company (Chitty) is about $5 per month cheaper and is much more customer friendly. My advice to newcomers to Ames is to sign up with Chitty.
