I left messages with three different chimney sweep services in the Des Moines and Ames area. Tom, at Mr. Sweeps is the only one that returned my call. I live about 30 miles away from Ames which was not a problem for him, so we set a date.  We communicated the day before he was scheduled to do the inspection and cleaning to confirm details.  He showed up on time, inspected and cleaned the chimney.  He provided fast and efficient service and left my fireplace cleaner than what he found it with no mess at all.  Tom recommended how often we should inspect and clean the chimney in the future and Tom at Mr. Sweeps is who I will call for all future service.
