Great job as always!

Well, the hose to the tub was disconnected. Very expensive repair as I had most of the unit taken apart already, but it will balance out over the years with other repair folks. Very smart guy, excellent knowledge about product and industry. Even though it was expensive, I will only use him again, he is that good.

Greg is very knowledgeable and professional about his work. I highly recommend him for appliance repairs. He explains what the problem is and what needs to be done to fix the problem. If you ask him, he will also give you his opinion about what he would do if he were in your situation. Very happy with his service.

The process and repairs went well.

The only other complaint I have is that I had to wait over a week for an appointment. It wasn't a disaster, because we have a back up frig, but it seemed a long time to wait for the initial diagnosis of the problem. The part was then ordered and installed after about four more days, which included a weekend. The technician was punctual, friendly, courteous, and informative. I would also add that it seemed a bit much that we incurred a mileage charge of $46 on top of a $70 service call charge.

Was able to schedule repair for the day following our initial call.  Repairman was on time (actually came a little early), was very efficient and professional, gladly answered our questions, and gave us some helpful tips.  Also had the necessary part in his van, which prevented the need for an additional trip.

Greg does an excellent job. We have had him work on several appliances (washer, stove and dishwasher) and have always been pleased.

The overall service was excellent.

Had puddles under fridge so we called Greg. He came out the next day and fixed it. Apparently, the freezer has this defrost drain tube that usually clogs every now and then. He took out a big chunk of ice. Went well. Beats buying a new fridge.

Greg came to the house today the morning after we called him. (Both our clothes washer and our refrigerator had problems.) He was on time and diagnosed the problems on both the fridge and the clothes washer within 15 minutes; had the parts with him; and had them both fixed within an hour. Total bill -- $197.00, of which about $90.00 was for parts and $65.00 was for the service call for both appliances so he only charged $30.00 for his labor, and the rest was tax.. Sears wanted to send a separate technician for each appliance -- i.e., two service calls, and their trip charge was $75.00 for each, and I also think they wanted to charge for mileage one way. A fellow from Des Moines wanted $75.00 to look at the first appliance, plus $25.00 for the second, plus a $15.00 mileage charge; and the other appliance repairman in Ames wanted $65.00 for a trip charge, plus $30.00 for the second appliance plus mileage outside the boundary of Ames.I would use Greg's Appliance Service again in a heartbeat. Great Service, great price. I have already recommended him to my friends in Ames, Iowa, where Greg's Appliance Service is located.

He will tell you if it is worth repairing something, or just replace it. He is reasonable in cost, and seems to get the parts very quickly.
