Tim Forbes State Farm Insurance

I am a State Farm customer and I have the home system protection endorsement on my Homeowners policy. About 6 months after purchasing my Home both my Furnace and AC stopped working. I called Tim Forbes State Farm and they helped me open a claim under this coverage to investigate the cause of the breakdown and see if I was eligible for any coverage. The claim goes through a third party company named Hartford Steam and Boiler, once I sent in my estimate on the cause of the damage they investigate if it is a covered loss or not. I was pleased to find out that I did have some coverage for my loss, and State Farm paid me a portion of each cost to replace my furnace and AC unit. My units were 21 years old so I was paid about $1800. Luckily I also had a home warranty since I just purchased the home 6 months prior, so I had extra coverage on the furnace and AC with that company as well and they also paid out toward the replacement of each unit. I was very pleased with all the help and assistance I received from my State Farm agency and the claims team while this was investigated. I would recommend adding the Home System protection coverage to any State Farm Homeowners policy or at least asking about the details of this coverage as it really helped me.
