Green Cleaning

They cleaned our carpets. I wasn't really there but it was nice that he did all of that but my wife was there and she seemed to be fairly impressed with them. They seemed to be professional. He e-mailed a receipt which I requested.

Kelly initially canceled and rescheduled for the initial consultation and when she came, she brought a friend who was local to my town and wanted to get into housecleaning in her spare time. They spent about 40 minutes in my house, which I had moved into just a few weeks earlier. I showed them specific areas that I really wanted to get cleaned - most specifically the blinds which were very dirty and dusty - probably rarely cleaned by the previous owners of the house. I have pets and showed them specific areas that I wanted to have cleaned as well. Because the new person had never cleaned houses before, I wanted Kelly to be there to make sure the quality was as good as her reviews stated. Later in the evening she called me with the cost for the initial cleaning ($100) and then a price for every-other-week cleaning to follow. We discussed payment protocol and she said that she would leave a self addressed stamped envelope and I could drop the check in the mail. I asked how I would know if it was any more than $100, she said that it wouldn't be, she wouldn't charge me more if her new person took longer to clean - She had estimated the initial cleaning would take about 4 hours for two people. Based on Kelly's schedule and her friend's schedule, the cleaning was scheduled for the following week. The cleaning took place on the scheduled afternoon, but when I got home from work, there was no envelope to send the check in. Not sure if I had her correct address, I called her several times and she did not return my messages. I then received a bill for $180, almost twice the price we had agreed on. When we did speak, she berated me on how filthy my house was and complained about how dirty the blinds were. She said it took longer than expected and they only cleaned some of the blinds. I asked why ? when she was at my house - she did not call me and tell me it was going to cost more than the agreed upon price or why she did not stop when she reached the 4 hours of cleaning (she claimed that they worked about 5.5 hours). She did not have an answer. She was so very nasty on the phone to me - certainly not they professional that she claimed to be. I told her I would pay the agreed upon price, and I did. She then sent me threatening letters and told me that she was going to sue me. Also, I had made the huge mistake of giving her my house key, which she held hostage for over a week. I was so afraid; I changed the locks on my house. In short, I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Although the areas that she did clean were cleaned pretty well, Kelly was not professional. She had plenty of time to examine my house when she made the initial visit, and to this day, I am not sure why the end price was so much higher than the agreed upon price. I would have not hired her if she had given me a $180 fee up front, and perhaps she knew that, as she was aware that I interviewed several people for the job. She is clearly litigious - a big red flag.

She does a thorough job. She does extra things I don't ask her to. I will continue to use her.

I am so pleased with Kelli. She is pleasant and industrious. Because of age and illness, I need someone on a weekly basis to keep the house in order and she fills the bill. I saw her ad on an online classified advertisements website and e-mailed her. She responded immediately and came to the house to give me an estimate. I have had other cleaners but none better than her. She has told me if I think something is not done or not done to my satisfaction, just let her know. So far, that has not been necessary. Also, her prices are very good compared to what others are charging. She generally charges $25 per hour.
