Jeff did an amazing job, especially during the hottest part of the summer. He not only replaced the siding, but discovered and repaired water damaged plywood on different areas of the house. He also discovered termites that were quickly eradicated. He also resurfaced the front porch pillars with newer material and did a quality job. He did such quality work and his years of experience really showed. We were very satisfied with his work. He saved us quite a bit of money as we got other bids that were significantly higher. We were so impressed with his work that he did that we hired him again for a flooring job about a year later. We would highly recommend Jeff.

Our house with fiber-cement siding is only 5 years old, but nearly all our windows were installed wrong.  Comically wrong actually, as we found numerous variations of "wrong" created by my original builder.  We had a number of leaks around some windows, but I had no idea things were as bad as they really were.  The water damage was unbelievable to me; the sheathing and studs under one window were completely black, molding and crumpled between your fingers.  Only 5 years old!  Word to those wiser than I: don't let a small leak go un-repaired.

The repair project with Jeff went great.  He is laid back.  He approached the problems methodically and I think took great care to apply the most practical best practice resolutions to each situation.  He replaced all my window trim and installed drip caps and any other flashing required.  Replaced sheathing, studs, siding, and even roofing as required.  Applied new window tape.  Re-caulked with vulkem. (great great stuff BTW.  Not cheap, but forms a permanently flexible seal).  We talked often about each new problem he would find, his communication was perfect.   Payment terms were great, I paid for materials up front and labor after completion.

He did some interior trim work on one window.  I think finish carpentry is actually his passion.  That went well too.

I believe I got great value for my money.  I'm not sure he charged enough really.   I would call him again no question.

Great overall, it just seemed at times like it would never be finished. Highly recommend this great alternative to expensive siding companies who would not have repaired the damage underlayment or alerted us to termite damage.
