Tom’s Tree Service is amazing! Insanely quick turnaround time, excellent customer service, exceeds expectations, and has the equipment needed to get the job done, no matter how big or small! Tom Birchmier has a crew that knows what to do, and I’d highly recommend them to anyone! ?

It took two days but all was cleaned up well and looks nice. We will definitely use them agin if we need a tree service.

They showed up at 7:30 am and went to work. All work had to be done by climbing the trees since entry to my yard with the boom truck is impossible. Both trees were removed, all debris was cleaned up before they left this afternoon. There is one more tree in my back fence line that is not safe to climb. They said they would come back to do this tree. My neighbor who was impressed with the value of the job had them coming to remove trees in his fence line until they used crane to take out log from my yard and put it through the side of his house.
Update-Did not come back to do other tree. It fell due to wind a few weeks later. When I called Tom, he said I'd have to find someone else since all his workers were working out of state. My neighbor's house damage did not look too bad from the outside, but it turns out the tree they swung through the side of his house caused $35,000 damage including structural problems. I now use a different tree guy. Wright Outdoor Solutions did not need to get a truck in my yard and got the last tree out pretty quickly.

Overall, I was very pleased with the experience.  Tom was right on time for our initial meeting.  His bid was just slightly higher than a competitor, but he was willing to match the competitor's bid to keep my business.  The gentlemen who showed up to complete the work were all very professional and friendly.  The clean-up on the property was exceptional.  I've already referred Tom's Tree Service to a neighbor who was also impressed.

One of the best experiences with a home contractor!  Made an appointment with Tom to give us an estimate for removing several trees.  He was early and efficient in his assessment of the complete job.  He gave us an estimate that was acceptable.  And was able to start the next day.  His crew arrived and removed and cleaned up eight trees.  The next day, while we were gone, his stump crew ground up the stumps and leveled the ground.  We didn't have to do anything.  Would recommend and use them again.

Tom's Tree Service company is so good it is beyond excellent.  When he first came for an estimate he wasn't late.  Instead he was early.  He gave me a very fair estimate and the lowest bid.  He was extremely easy to work with.  If I sent him an e-mail he answered it within minutes.  The actual work began today.  They said they would be here at 7:30 AM.  They were here by 7:15 AM and began work immediately.  It was amazing to watch.  For such a large tree very close to my home they did not have even a small limb fall on my home.  They took the time to tell me what they were going to do before the work started so I would know what to expect.

I am in Ottumwa, Iowa and they service my town, several surrounding towns and currently about 30 miles into Missouri.
Do yourself a favor if you need to have a tree trimmed or removed.  They also do small jobs.
After five months going on 6 months to have a contractor fix my home damaged by June storm, still not finished, saying they 
would be here at 8 AM and then not show up at all...not just once but at least 8 times, being 2-3 hours late, etc. Toms' Tree Service
