Surgery date was moved from 2 weeks up to one week since I would be going on a trip soon and wanted the cat fully healed before I left. Site of previous stone removal stitches had popped because cat active too soon after surgery. Vet said this one was a hard surgery because muscle tissue thin and hard to re-stitch. I think the vet did a good job since these stitches have healed well. The tech looked in often on my hunka cat.

Where I have a problem with this vet is with one of the 'office' people. One was very nice and helpful in getting my cat's surgery moved up a week. The other one can't be bothered. I took another cat in because she wasn't eating, and I was afraid something was wrong with her teeth. Unfortunately I got the appointment time mixed up and arrived an hour after the correct time. I asked if they could work me in since I just wanted the cat's teeth looked at. The receptionist just said "no". Didn't even ask the vet. I had to change vets recently because of a traumatic incident, and am looking for another vet. If the vet can't be a little accommodating, it will not be a lasting relationship. I don't usually ask for 'favors', but I needed to be sure my babies are taken care of before I went on vacation. As it was, I ended on going to another vet to have the cat's teeth looked at.

I used this vet twice as my ailing cat needed attention. They were extremely caring, knowledgable, and responsive as I made the tough decision to euthanize the cat. After the first appointment, they called back two weeks later to see how the cat was doing. They were very understanding, caring, and supportive when they put the cat down. If I had another animal, I would definitely continue to use this vet.
