SIGS BODY SHOP

This company was recommended by my insurance provider. Once I agreed to use them, mainly because it was close to my house, Sig's took care of the rest. I dropped off the vehicle and was astonished at how fast they completed the repairs. My vehicle was returned looking better than new. I've used this place twice and was pleased both times. That being said; both times were covered by insurance; had I been paying myself I would likely find a cheaper place because the price seemed a little high to me.

They first identified items damaged in the wreck.

Then when it came time to fix the damages they told me that the door locking mechanism in the left rear door worked ok and they weren't going to replace it.

Then the supervisor told me no one at his company ever said it was broken, i.e., calling me a liar.

When I talked to my insurance company, they had to call SIGS and tell then to replace the switch that was broken.



They lacked any sense of customer service.

Service in 2005 was very good and slightly expensive. $2000.
Estimate in 2012 was way above other body shops.

On the first experience, they told me I had a leak in my A/C system after they replaced the condenser and they couldn't recharge it. The A/C was working fine before the incident, but they said it wasn't their fault and I needed to take it to an A/C shop!
The second experience, the rear spoiler they repainted started to peel after a year and a half and after two years looks worse than before they repainted it!
I would not recommend this shop.

They do outstanding work. It felt like my family was fixing my car. I took my car in on a Tuesday and I got it back on Friday. Everything that was suppose to get fixed was fixed including a dent that wasn't suppose to get fixed. They even washed and detailed my car. The shop was clean and the workers were nice.
