The last time I went to Midas, I thought I might need a new battery. I was not aware that they close at 5pm and I had gone there directly from work, arriving a few minutes before 5. But when I told them my problem they took my car in and hooked it up to test the battery and alternator and everything was still strong. So many times in my life would other repair shops on the mainland (and one here on Oahu I hit in another not so nice review) would have told me to come back or sold me a battery I did not need. I have gone to these great folks in Waipahu for 3 years and never once been disappointed. They are friendly, prompt and make you feel like an old friend My vehicle inspections are completed in about 10-15 minutes (or less). They are always my first stop when I have an auto problem.
