Kapili Roofing

Kapili Roofing Daniel Nakamura promptly responded to my request to have roof inspected, in spite of his heavy workload because of a wind storm. He inspected roof and noted the dislodged panels were from under two solar panels. He asked that I contact the solar panel contractor and have the solar panel removed and he would coordinate to have his roofers replace panels once the solar panels were removed. Once I obtained date/time for Solar Panel removal, Kapili roofing coordinated their workmen to come and replace roofing panels. Whole operation to have Solar Panel removed and Roofing Panels Repaired/Replace took only about 2 hours to complete. In the meantime the Kapili roofers also repaired three smaller shingles with no extra cost. Kapili Roofers were friendly, professional, and very efficient workers. Only negative comment I have is that their prices are on the high end, but I found it was worth it.

Kapili Roofing was very professional, showed up on time and had the whole project completed in a little less than two days. First we were given information on roofing materials and colors to choose from. However, after making our decision we were told that the material and color we had picked weren't available. That was concerning, but the next "step up" in quality of materials was offered at the original price, and the color choice (while not what we originally wanted) was actually quite nice. When the work started the workers were very careful to lay drop cloths around the house and tried to minimize dust and debris as much as possible - considering they were ripping off the whole roof of our house, this was much appreciated. All the workers were polite, courteous, punctual and extremely hard working. I believe they all worked about 11 hours the first day and by about 3 or 4 in the afternoon on the second day they were done! In addition to replacing the roof on the main house they also insulated and replaced the roof on a small, low ceiling addition. That room was super hot (because of the low ceiling) and now is much cooler thanks to the insulation and white materials they used on that roof. The staff was courteous and conscientious and even made sure that there were no nails or other roofing trash left around our house.

Very well, from quote to acceptance, start to finish no issues. All aspect of work very professional. I had three quotes and Kapili was the one I went with, they had the best offer.

Weather permitting everything went well, very professional, cleaned up constantly during and after work was done for the day.

Kapili represented the full package of what a roofing contractor should be. They were professional, easy to work with and thorough in their work.

Well. Work was scheduled and performed as planned. All Kapili members were friendly and responsive. My only issue is that as the day of renovation start approached, there was no reminder or information on how to prepare, I had to call to ask for the information. All else went very well.

Hats off to Mike Leong, owner. Mike kept an eye on the entire process and his crew were professional, courteous, prompt, and safety conscious. Great job. Great follow up. 100% stands behind their work.

It was raining the original day scheduled so for safety they came back the next day and worked on the roof in sections so we were not left with any bare roof over night. They also gave the best bid from the 3 companies we called.

Work delayed due to rainy weather. PV installation scheduled for 11/12/12. Kapili Roofing did a great job, working Saturday and Sunday to make sure roof was ready for PV install on schedule. Awesome company to work with from the first phone call to completion of work and beyond!
