Recommended by my insurance company. Called for a repair quote range - per their instruction, emailed photos of the damaged area to be repaired. No response, followed-up two weeks later, no response again.
Description of Work: Bathroom ceiling repair work (dry wall replacement & painting) caused by a leak of the apartment above.

I obviously did not go with Hawaii DKI due to their quote and their unprofessional attitudes.
Description of Work: I needed someone to do restoration work after having water damage and called 3 contractors. Two had come out and given me quotes [very similar to each other] and then DKI came. They sent 2 men to do the work, not to give me a quote and could not give me one. I called the company after they left. The estimator got on the line and said that quotes could not be given until after the drying work was completed to know how long it took. The DKI estimator said he could give me a ballpark estimate which was "$5,000 to $10,000". My quotes for the other 2 contractors who cared enough to look at the job were $2,500 average.

On October 29, 2012 my house was destroyed in a fire. They were there within days after they were given the go ahead to help clean out the house. DKI came in and removed all the trash and burnt items they also helped to recover anything that was salvageable and they are helping to restore any of those items. After a huge loss like this its overwhelming and DKI has made the process a lot easier to deal with.
