I had a shutoff valve that was leaking and needed a plumber. I checked with our association’s resident manager and he referred me to them. I contacted the company and arranged a date to take care of the valve. The plumber showed up on time and started working. He replaced the valve in a quick and efficient manner. We then tested it to make sure everything was OK and it worked perfectly. He ever recommended that I get a new cover for the valve instead of the old concrete one and also where I could get it. I went there and purchased on and replaced the old on immediately. The plumber was very friendly and very easy to work with. Overall, this company and their personal are outstanding and I would hire them anytime.

I have a dedicated propane gas line for my stove. When my home was built a planter with Aricca palms was built directly over part of the line. Long story short the roots split the line and all of my gas was leaking out underground. I called one plumber who said he would only install a brand new line instead of hooking up to the good part of the old line. His quote was $3000.00. I looked on Angie's list and found Aina 1. I called and spoke with Karen who told me that she would send Kealoha (who at the time I did not realize was the owner). Kealoha was there in no time and was one of the most gracious and accommodating people I have ever worked with. He said he would send Joey out to pressure test the line to see if we could find the problem. Joey came a couple of days later and was just as awesome as Kealoha (who by the way did not charge me for the initial visit). He knew his stuff. Joey pressure tested the line and made a few suggestions of what we could do to fix the line but he would have to have the office call me with an estimate. Karen called me to say that they could put in a new line for $1000.00 if we did the trenching of the yard ourselves. We rented a trencher for $69.00 and saved our selves a ton of money. Joey and Troy (who specializes in gas line work) came out and were able to run a new line and connect it at the edge of my lanai where it entered the house. They were fast and efficient and just all around good guys. They even buried the pipe for me which was not part of the deal. The best part is that because they were so fast it only cost us $732.00 plus the $120.00 for the first time pressure test. Still came up less than the estimate. This is how GOOD business is done. I took a bunch of their magnets and have been handing them out to all of my friends. Aina 1 is a class act all the way around!

‘Aina 1 plumbing is a well-equipped plumber. I had wedelia roots clogging my sewer line. There was a 5 ft long clump of roots and sewage solids that was packed tight. At first, they tried their medium size snake for three hours, but it kept clogging on the roots. The next day, they brought their biggest snake plus a root pressure jet. Their snake made some progress, but they gave
up after 2 hrs. They used a pressure jet and it was able to make a hole through the blockage after 2 hrs. They were planning on using a pipe camera to find the crack. Fortunately, the sewer pipe started squirting through the crack so they could cut out the pipe around the crack and remove the blockage.
Another plumber without the pressure jet wouldn’t have been able to locate the crack.
They came 6 hrs after I called. Sewage was coming up from the tub and around the base of the toilet.
