Rusty & Angela Amos

Rusty and Angela recently moved to here to Hawaii from Florida and said they had cleaned houses for 8 years on St. George Island. Their other business is professional photography. We did the walk thru of my home and they said that they were interested in cleaning my home. They cleaned my home a total of two times. I had asked, and they agreed, that they would email me a day or two before a scheduled monthly service to confirm that they were coming. The evening before the third cleaning was scheduled I had not heard from them so I emailed them. Rusty replied with, "We have talked about this a lot, but I do not think for us that this is working. Please send me your address a we will return you wash cloth. I hope there are no hard feeling, it is just a different than what we normally do. Sorry I have meant to contact you but hate confrontation." I replied not understanding what "different than what we normally do" meant seeing how they told me they've cleaned houses for 8 years prior and agreed to service my home after the walk-thru. They never replied. They left me hanging the night before a scheduled service. Had I not contacted them first, we would have come home to an untouched house and we would have wondered why they were a no-show. The fact that he said he "hates confrontation" gives me pause...If they would have been honest with me and communicated their feelings to me much earlier in the month, I would have understood with no hard feelings. But the way they ended it was totally unprofessional, and did in fact leave hard feelings. How would they like it if the tables were turned and someone did the same thing to them?
