My entire experience with Zoe Builders was the most wonderful experience I could ever ask for. There are not enough words to express the honor, gratitude and exceptional work they did on building my new home. I cannot thank Amber enough for all the hard work she has done for me from the very beginning to the final walk through. Amber's knowledge and experience with construction work is so impressive, helping me from building permits to water meters to septic tanks it is completely amazing how much she knows which in turn is able to help her customers out. Janine and James are just as wonderful too if Amber is not there they both are able to jump right in a project and take over. The construction part of this build was INCREDIBLE for myself, my family and my entire street. All our neighbors would stop us complimenting on how fast and efficient the construction workers were. They could not believe that they even worked in the rain everyone on my block was so impressed!!! Any obstacles that we came across were always given to me with options and solutions. As anything in life the most important thing is communication it gets the job done and it gets the job done right which is how the job got done effectively. If there was anything I did right in this lifetime (besides my kids) was to have Zoe Builders build me my brand new home.

Our new Maui Meadows home is being finished. It is gorgeous and we are so happy with it. It is amazing that Zoe Builders was able to build this home on a difficult slope rocky lot on schedule and within budget. We did our research and talked to a number of builders before hiring Zoe Builders. The whole process took about 15 months (It took the first 7 months to get all the permits approved by Maui County partly because the lot is on a steep slope). We are so fortunate to have Zoe Builders help us out in all aspects of the process since we live in the mainland. The owner Jesse is hands-on and creative. His invaluable experiences and instinct helped us a great deal. He did not just passively implement what we wanted. He often advise us on pros and cons on the changes we were contemplating. I worked mostly with Amber who is responsible for shepherding the archaic and complex process of obtaining all the county permits. She was also responsible for scheduling, hiring sub contractors, and managing workflows. She was efficient, professional, and paid great attention to details. Often times, she acted as our trusted advisor. She really made it easy for us. Zoe Builders is a family business with great integrity. They always kept their commitments. Their workmanship is first rate. While many builders charge lots of money for change orders, Zoe Builders does not. Yes the final cost was a bit higher than we originally planned simply because we wanted to upgrade a few things. There was really no surprises. If you are building a new home or remodeling an existing one, you cannot go wrong with this fine company.

Our new house is complete and I want to let you know that this family business is more professional than many corporations I've dealt with over the years. I have built five houses over the course of my life, remodeled many others and I have to say that what I appreciate the most is the true aloha, genuine care for your desires and their own reputation, but most of all to me being a woman is that not once did I ever hear anything foul out of the entire team, let alone a foul thought. They are very upright and true to their word.
From the initial inquiry with Amber, follow up to initial bid questions from James, to getting change orders done with Janine and Arden. ... the entire team has been a true pleasure to work with. Jesse, patriarch and expert tradesman is a true gentleman. His
professional experience comes to your benefit by providing spot on suggestions while always respecting your wishes and desires. Plus he's funny to boot! He's truly a skilled expert being able to complete most of all the various jobs himself even though he uses licensed professionals to ensure all is to code.
I can't express how happy we are with Zoe ' s work ethic and professional finished product. Everything looks amazing and we know that we not only have a beautiful home but a quality built home that will last generations!

Not only am I a rank novice at remodeling, I am a long time paralyzed quadriplegic. Zoe builders took the time to accommodate my needs in assessing what needed to be remodeled and gave me practical choices with an eye on my limited budget. From demolishing my kitchen, to installing new wood floors throughout, to the installation of new kitchen cabinets, they completed the job with a white glove cleanup of the premises. I feel like they are family to me now. They will be the guests of honor at my housewarming party to celebrate my new kitchen and household flooring.

Our condo was finished in 8 weeks, which was 1 week ahead of schedule. They communicated with us throughout the entire process while we were in Alaska. They took care of everything and in the end did whatever else we asked to make sure we were happy with the end result. They were always available to us via email, phone and text and always returned our messages and showed up when they were supposed to or called. They all work well together and we were very happy with the end result. We loved working with Amber, James, Jessy, and the entire Zoe Builders crew. Thanks for the wonderful condo remodel. Zoe Builder's were our God sent Angels from the beginning!!! From day one to the end, nothing but professionalism, consistency, integrity, and pride in their work was shown. Being that this was our first home, we didn't know what to expect because we've heard so many horror stories about building your own home and of course we were a little skeptical at first thinking of how our experience was going to pan out. I have to admit that from the first meeting that we had with Amber and Jesse, from that day forward, we knew that we were in nothing but GREAT hands. Not one time did we ever have any doubt that something wouldn't be done and done to our expectations. The communication and availability of the staff was phenomenal!!! There were times where I wouldn't be able to make it to office and Amber would meet me somewhere. There were also times where she would even drive to my place of employment just to get things that I needed to give to them because I wasn't able to drive to their office. Talk about being first class with client service!! We loved how Jesse and his staff would voice their suggestions to us and how they were very open and accommodating to changes that we requested as well. When things were pointed out to them, it was fixed by the next day or that same day, which was VERY impressive! Another impressive thing was that the property was NEVER left in a mess. After a days of work, the men would ALWAYS pick up after themselves, stacked up the materials neatly, swept around and left the area clean. We've personally NEVER seen other contractors do that. They're finishing work is also so very phenomenal!!! The details that they put into the home are absolutely priceless and breathtaking. The pride that they illustrate in their work was very stunning to see. They worked very fast and finished our home quickly BUT everything was over and beyond our expectations. There were no short cuts taken on anything. Again, the overall experience with Zoe Builders was AMAZING and we couldn't have asked for more. They made our life time dream come true! We often are asked who built our home and we are MORE THAN proud to say that Zoe Builders built it and highly recommend them!

Zoe Builders was a blessing in my first home building experience. They helped me from the beginning to the end. Their office was always opened for my questions and concerns. They helped me with my design and even met with my association, which was very difficult about height and design. They were patient with me and even stepped in to design my kitchen, which I had no knowledge about. When I need work done now, I still call them to find out who their sub contractors are because I know they hire really good people. They do things right because their reputation means everything to them. I would use them for a future project in a heart beat and I get really excited telling people about them. I had my reservations about building my home from the ground up because I heard of lots of horror stories. The experience I had with Zoe, was very painless and they did all the leg work. They even gave me a clear schedule of what they were gonna be doing week to week. If things changed they called and let me know. Communication was very open and friendly. What words would I use to describe them? Honest, reliable, professional, personable. Can't get any better than that!

If you are looking for someone whom you can trust, be fair, and finish a good job on time, Zoe Builders it is. They are great in what they are doing.

Jesse and his crew did an awesome job on our home. He is overall the best in his trade!!! We have never seen a general contrator who is so involved in his projects. His knowledge and ability to work alongside his crew, showed us how much pride he took into everything he did. If there were any concerns or changes Jesse would suggest an alternate plan and give us options, talking to us first and making sure it was what we wanted. His office staff worked diligently to keep us posted on installations and time scheldules. It was definately an experience that we were blessed with after hearing other peoples horror stories of contractors. We would do it again and are already thinking about future extentions.

The house was finished on time, it exceeded specifications, and at an extremely reasonable cost. It is a beautiful, elegantly designed and constructed home. There were no problems although we made changes that Zoe Builders accomodated smoothly and efficiently without additional charges. We have lived in this house for seven years without any problems with construction at all.
