Dansen's Auto Repair

My extremely old car (1995) wasnʻt steering properly. One day I couldnʻt even turn the wheel to get it into my parking space. I always keep Dansens business card with me, so I called their towing service and the truck was there within 15 minutes to pick up the car and take it to their repair shop. Within an hour, Theresa had called with an estimate, but sadly the cost ($2300) was worth more than the car, so we declined to have it repaired. She was very nice about it and told me not to worry; we could make arrangements to have the car removed from their lot the next day. They only charged me the cost of towing. 
This wasnʻt the first time Iʻve used Dansens. We had them replace our radiator a few months ago after it blew while I was just exiting a drive-thru restaurant. We managed to drive the car to their shop a few blocks away, and they fixed it within a day without an appointment.
The first time I used Dansens and was sold on their service was when I needed an annual safety check. They let you walk in and usually within 1/2 hour they have inspected your car and put the sticker on the back. All for about $20. Completely painless while you can wait in their TV reception room.
Iʻm glad that there is a reliable and honest auto repair shop like Dansens in my neighborhood. I highly recommend them.

Towing and work was done promptly, and the repair seems to be holding so far. The tow job cost an extra $50 because the tow driver said my vehicle was "stuck" in 4wd and he had to use a "dolly". I could not duplicat the problem, and believe it's operator error but the owner would not change the price. When I picked up the vehicle they told me it was "Still running rough"; I opened the hood and there was a spark plug wire loose. I pointed it out to Dansen and he promptly re-connected it, and it runs well now. Can't complain about the actual repair, but the towing and follow-up (rough running) were not up to my standards. Dansen does all my inspections and has performed other repairs well, so I would still recommend their work.

I've been using them for almost 6 years. I've used them for my first car and my new car. They are excellent. What he does is, if a dealership charges a customer so much, he goes and does his research and he usually does it cheaper than what the dealership charges.
